Baby Recalls and safty

Since the list for recalls is always changing it would be silly for me to try and post the whole list so instead I will give you good sites to try and find recalls on.

www.parents.com

Just go to the search type in recall list and you'll get alot of info here ^_^

Now you just got that lil thing and it doesn't move much now but trust me that won't stop that critter from getting into trouble so heres some top safty stuff ya might wanna look into!

1. There should never be anything in the bed with she/he sleeps, it the baby rolls into someting of pulls somthing over, such as a stuffed animal, it can cause suffercation.

2. Even if you keep locks on your cabnets that will stall the baby but she/he will figure them out fast enough so always no matter what keep cleaners and poisons above head.

3. If you can pass a object through a toilet paper roll then its to small for your baby.

4. Plain water is NOT ok for a newborn, I know you put it in the forumla anyway but it can hurt the baby.

5. Don't give your baby rice cereal in their formula until around 4 months, it helps with sleep but if the baby isn't ready it can cause her/him to get stopped up.

6. Buttons are cute on clothes but make sure there on the back only, a baby will play with them because there shiney and may manage to pull it off. Then its a one way trip to the mouth.

7. NEVER EVER EVER leave your baby alone on a bed or couch, you may think they can't move yet but that doesn't stop them from learning at the worst moments.

8. Baby's heat is mostly in their head so its recommended your baby wear a hat at all times outdoors in winter.

9. Think of your new family member like a puppy, if you don't want them to drool on it, chew it, or poop on it keep it off the floor.

10. Be very carefull with how you use babypowder, if it puffs in the infants face it can dry his/her lungs up.
