Located beneath the surface of the Rice Country, the sprawling metropolis of Hidden Sound awaits its visitors. Skyscrapers reach up towards the ceiling. Yuudoku and ORI Labs has realized that one day, the city must expand onto the surface or die from an inevitable subterranean collapse of the surrounding rock. Initially, it began as an underground escape for the criminals and wanderer's seeking power under Orochimaru. The city colonized below ground and because of this has forced itself into an ecological crisis. A stringent security protocol erected by the Director of Security surrounds the circular city, and its this security that allows lightning quick response time in its shinobi and defenses. At the top of the cavern roof, large circular holes have been drilled into the rock allowing sunlight to stream through these wide chasms. Light is then collected and redistributed at night and during darker times of the day, simulating light and a sky with water molecules.
