Okay, so I moved into my dorm room and I noticed that my suitemate had an AWESOME wallpaper on her desktop. I said that it looked really cool and my roomy said that she thought so too and was really excited that she (the girl that was on it) was going to be turned into an anime. eek
Say what? A regular artist is getting an anime for their character? I WANT ONE!!
So the way that it happened was the artist would draw this character and others in the story. The artist is so good that people would draw fanart of his (hers? I don't know... I think it's a him) characters and then eventually someone made a Vocaloid.
And now it will be an anime!! O.o
So now my goal is to get an anime made of my character Kira (you might remember the name from my Night Express story if you read it. The story that I'm writing is the original Kira's. The one in NE is an extremely watered down (and chibified) version of her.)
I'll keep you updated, okay? I'll need fan art if you want to do it so it gets noticed. If you like it, call your friends in on it too! Lets see if we can make an anime!!
Her story line has alternate worlds, so if people are okay with it, I might have then run into the Taco Rangers.... >.>

I think I might post the prologue in the Muse thread to see if anyone likes it... Or should I just post it here because people looks at this forum more?

Well then, I'll post the prologue here then.... EVERYTHING BELONGS TO ME!!! (AH!! Still editing!) (okay, should be all fixed... sorry, but I finished this at around 2 am this morning... >.>) _________ Prologue “Well, I’m off, Onii-chan.” The 14 year old blonde haired girl put her hair in its usual pony-tail. She turned to the full body mirror to check to see if everything was in place. Her thigh length coat touched the top of her boots and framed her tank-top and jeans while a mask surrounded her gold eyes. ‘I barely look like myself’ she thought. ‘No one will recognize me!’ The mirror gave a slight shiver until she was no longer looking at herself but a male version. His baggy pants were worn and dirty, his shirt needed a wash desperately. His own pony-tail was on the side of his head, though a lot smaller. He looked concerned from where he sat on the stool in front of the mirror. “Are you sure about this?” He asked nervously. “I don’t want you getting hur-” “Onii-chan, we already talked about this.” She pressed her hand to the mirror and he copied her action. Both wished they could feel the other’s warmth. “He said he could help us.” “Yes, but to steal from the Feudal Lord? It’s such a risk!” He lifted himself up so that he was kneeling on the stool. “It’s only this one more time-” “Out of three! We don’t even know what he’s going to do with all this stuff!” He took a breath to calm himself. Yelling wasn’t going to get her to cooperate. “I just feel like something bad is going to happen this time.” His hand slipped a little when he looked down forlornly. Her hand moved to match. “We have to try.” She said softly. “We have to try.” He nodded. If only this had never happened in the first place. “Now give us a kiss for good luck.” He made himself put on a big smiled before raising his head to look at her. She had her cheek pressed up against the class so he leaned in and kissed the cold surface that separated them. “Now you.” He turned obediently at her voice and pressed his own cheek to the reflection. He heard her lips press against the glass and then pull back. “I love you Manana.” She said softly as she picked up her bag to go. “I love you,” his voice broke for a moment before he got it back under control. “Zusa.” The door clicked quietly shut behind her as he settled back into his seat. For a moment he stared at the closed door before bowing his head and burying his face in his hands. His shoulders began to shake as he sent up a lonely prayer. ‘My sweet, my sister, my twin, my light… come back to me.’ ________________________________________ The shadow moved quietly about the town, moving from house to house in search of it’s prey. ‘Should I go to him, or to his pawn first?’ The question plagued the shadow’s master (as well as the shadow to some extent). ‘If we go after him, his pawn will probably get herself killed…. But if we go after her, he’ll escape.’ The shadow seemed to sigh, though it was from the master’s worry or the shadow’s impatience, neither knew. Suddenly the shadow stopped in an alley, the master picking up a scent. ‘This is where she lives. Maybe she’s still here-’ both doubted it, but a creature jumped out of the shadow and landed on the sill on the 3 story window. The creature extended one claw like finger and scratched open a circle to unlatch the window so it could get in. It put first one human-like foot in, followed by another before standing up straight to look around, the black and tattered Kimono brushing against its feminine cafes. A large Oni mask adorned it’s face (or was it the actual face?) and ended about where it’s stomach would be if it was a normal human while black dreadlocks cascaded down it’s back. The eyes looked to and fro throughout the room, one moment they were green, the next purple. Clearly this was a monster from the fairy-tales. Manana hid at the corner of the mirror, his fear keeping him hidden while his curiosity had him staying. Suddenly the creature sniffed the air as if it were a bloodhound on a scent. It spun on its heel to stare at the mirror. Manana froze; maybe the creature was dumb and wouldn’t notice- “So the girl has already left?” It cocked its head to the side when it asked its question. Her? It sounded like a girl. Manana blinked, realizing that she (it?) was talking to him. “Quickly now, tell me where she’s gone.” The mask seemed to frown, but he thought it was just his imagination. “Why should I-?” He finally answered, defiantly. He wasn’t going to offer up his twin to this beast. “Because, the one who is making her do this cannot get you out of your mirror imprisonment. No one in this world can.” ________________________________________ Zusa panted as she bowed over with her hands on her knees. The palace guards were quick, but she knew all the ins and outs better than they. She was now within reach of her goal; all she had to do now was to open the door. She knocked first. “It’s me!” She said clearly so they could get this over quickly. “It’s about time.” A withered old man opened the door and let her in. “Did you get it?” The 14 year old proudly produced a cup of jade, with cats carved along the sides. All the things he asked for her to steal had cats on them. It seemed all very strange to her. “Ah, good, good… put it down here.” He gestured to the table as he walked to his cabinet. “And now you’ll help my brother?” “Of course!” He opened the wooden door wide, the small mirror on the inside catching her reflection. She blinked, startled. There was not herself in the mirror, but Manana! But what was he mouthing to her? ‘Run…? Can’t… help?’ She turned to look back at the old man when he turned, trying not to look back at her brother. “When can you do it?” That was a reasonable question, right? The old man looked at her through his slightly larger eye. “Not today.” “But-” “These things take time.” A slow, lecherous grin crossed his face. “But if you get me something else, my sweet, I might be able to-” “No.” She stared at her hands curled uselessly in her lap. She knew now for sure that her brother was right. It took all her will not to cry right then and there. “You could never help us, could you?!” She cried out, raising her head to glare at him through tearing eyes. He looked at her through his eye again before his grin became wider… inhumanly wide. “I guess you outlived your usefulness, my dear.” He said, standing up. Zusa’s eyes widened. Was he going to kill her? She moved aside her coat near her hip to reveal her dagger. He’ll have a tough time of it. He saw her moment and chuckled darkly. “You think that pitiful butter knife will save you?” His voice was changing, becoming lower pitched. Suddenly his skin wrinkled and cracked before he just pulled it off all together to show a black void in the shape of the old man. “You still have a soul, yes? She can’t drag me back there if I have a soul…” The creature seemed to smirk. “And you won’t be needing yours when you’re dead now will you?” He lunged at her and she thought the last thing she would see was the horrified image of her brother, still trapped in the mirror. CRASH!! Glass fragments flew everywhere as another demon leapt through the window at the first. What was once the old man seemed to shrink back on itself as the masked one approached it. “I was only joking!” The old man shrieked. The mass spun to look at her. “Tell her that we were only joking!” She sat there, unmoving. She was caught between two demons; there was no way she was going to live now. The old man seemed to realize that Zusa wasn’t going to help him and rounded on the newer creature. “Look! I got these for you!” He quickly pulled out all the items that Zusa had stolen and some that she had never seen before. ‘So they weren’t to help brother, but to appease the other demon.’ She thought, tears running down her face. She hadn’t helped him at all. The masked creature picked up one of the mysterious items before dropping it back on the table. “If you had left them alone, I would have left you alone. But you had to make false hopes and promises.” The female demon stepped closer. “I have no such use for trifles like these.” “I’M NOT GOING BACK! YOU CAN’T MAKE ME!” The old man sprouted tentacles and started destroying the house. A wooden beam nearly fell on Zusa but the female demon scooped her up and ran through a new opening in the wall. “Stay here.” She said as she turned back toward the old man. ________________________________________ Suza watched in awe as the female demon danced through the attacks that the old man sent her way. She spun in midair, twisting her body until she landed on all fours and smiled (the MASK SMILED) wickedly. Within a matter of moments, the fight was over and the old man’s weapons were severed from him. With the index finger of her clawed hand, the female demon seemed to cut the air, making the old man scream louder. Suddenly it was being sucked into the tear until there was nothing left. Zusa sat on, her jaw nearly touching the ground. That was something she hadn’t even heard of before. Things weren’t just sucked up! The female demon turned to Zusa and approached. The girl vainly held up her knife as though she thought she could protect herself with it. “S-stay-” The demon caught the blade between the claws of her fore and thumb finger and she crouched down. “Are you alright?” she asked. Zusa blinked, suddenly feeling out of it. Was she alright? Some demon tried to kill her and this demon had somehow saved her? “Um, I’m fine…. Thank you.” The mask cocked its head to the side before rising- or trying to. Zusa noticed something dripping onto the ground and grabbed the demon’s arm. “You’re bleeding!” The demon seemed to look down in shock before falling into Zusa. ________________________________________ She awoke to the sun hitting her eyes directly and sat up. Bandages were wrapped around her bare waist and she lifted her hands suddenly to her face to see if the mask was gone. It was. All she had on were her undergarments. She turned her head and spotted the ragged kimono washed and folded on the ground by the bed. ‘No need to stay here any longer than I need to.’ She thought quietly as her tail swished behind her. She knew what the pawn thought of her: Demon, creature of evil. Her actual appearance seemed to confirm that. Black ears twitched on top of her head as she looked around the room with her amethyst eyes, trying to figure out where she was being watched from. Her attention turned to the mirror again. There it was, the reflection that didn’t reflect. He was looking at her curiously. She glared at him, unashamed of her state of undress or of the scars that adorn her body. “They must have hurt.” He said, realizing that he had been caught. “Hn. I don’t feel pain, so no.” She felt it best to end the conversation there but he was determined to go on. “So the tail and ears-” “Are real.” She said in an exhausted voice. Sometimes she wished they would call her a demon and just leave her alone. “But you have human ears too.” She groaned before turning to look at him as she tied the obi to her kimono. “Sir, I do not consider you my friend. Drop it.” She reached down to collect her mask before he continued. “Well, you better get used to the idea of us being friends, because we’re coming with you.” She stood up straight at that. “I beg your pardon?” “That’s just what I wanted to talk to you about.” Zusa had just entered the room, carrying a tray of food. The female demon (was she a demon?)’s mouth watered but she restrained herself. Her stomach apparently didn’t get the memo because it decided then to growl as loudly as she had ever heard it. The nameless girl’s face flamed in embarrassment. “Sounds like you’re hungry.” Zusa noted as Manana laughed. “You’re not coming with me.” The girl said. The twins sobered. “Oh, we beg to differ.” Manana said. Zusa pushed the girl back down so she sat on the bed before continuing. “Well, you said that they only way to fix Manana was to leave this world.” The girl opened and closed her mouth. She hadn’t said it like that exactly. “And since you explained to me that the shadow creatures aren’t from this world…” Manana continued. “You must know a way to go to different worlds.” “But- no!” the girl was unmoving. They weren’t coming. “Oh yes we are.” Zusa said, sitting up straight and grinning down at her. Wasn’t this girl afraid of her a little while ago? “Now that I know that you’re smaller than me, We. Are. Going. With. You. Whether. You. Like. It. Or. Not.” With each word, Zusa poked the girl’s head and she flinched. “Besides,” Manana went on. “We have yet to thank you properly for letting me use other mirrors so I’m not trapped in this one.” “We could help you with the Shadows!” Zusa continued. “And let you know when you’re hurt, Miss I-don’t-feel-pain.” The girl sighed as she picked up a grape from the plate that Zusa brought in. When she took them to the first world, they’ll want to come back. She’ll just have to prepare for that. ‘I’ll give them two weeks, tops.’ “Fine.” She said softly, now biting into a roll. The twins smiled to eat other. “Oh! We should have your name!” Zusa said. The girl blinked. She didn’t even know her real name. Just what everyone called her... a killer. “Kira. They call me Kira.”

"Happiness is like peeing in your pants..."
I'm still trying to figure out a titled for it all.... At the moment I'm fiddling with the idea of 'Shadow Chasers' because that sounds interesting...
Would you watch an anime or read a manga called 'Shadow Chasers' or does that sound too juvenile?

heart That just might work. Thing is, with a title, you want something simple people can understand, but something that makes them wonder at the same time. Dusk is simple, but it also makes one think, okay, why Dusk? So they might at least want to read a little bit to find out, and that's where your hook lines come in. Lol. Maybe a bit much for an answer, but figured I'd just say so anyway razz heart
