So in some ways many practitioners of neo-pagan witchcraft and the like have what they would consider to be "moon worship" as well as "sun worship". Then you have some who have what they would consider "earth worship". What is your opinion on the matter?

Earth is great, it's where we live. It gives us life, food, shelter. It's our home planet, our mother.
Moon.. well, it's my planetary sign? And I love how it shines at night, dominating the sky, especially when it's full. It just seems to mystical at times also.
Sun is warming and helps provide us with the food we eat. Without it, we'd be in a cold dark starving world.

I look toward the moon before others though. Besides the fact it's the only one I haven't yet seen damage from, lol. The sun can give you sunburns and blind spots (I'd know sweatdrop ) and the earth has volcanos and storms and such. Plus the moon is fairly predictable with it's cycles.

But I don't really actively worship any of them (or anything at all really..). I use them all where necessary, the moon I just see as more of a magical source that I could use than the others. The sun and earth still both are special and I look for other things, but usually besides magic stuff.

The three Gods I worship in my primary work are celestial deities. They are represented by the Moon, sun, earth, and stars. The way I see it, the stars are the great spirits face (expression of male and female unity) the Moon is the Goddess and the Sun the God, but there is an aspect of the Sun that is female and an aspect of the Moon that is Male. The earth is both.

I worship other deities as well. I don't worship them in the same ways as the deities of my path, but I do worship and perform rituals to other deities. The only deities I've never explored that I want to, are the Neteru or the Gods of Egypt.

I follow many gods. I primarily follow the Greek pantheon and see, for the most part, other deities of manifestations of those gods.

So, how do you feel that cultures like the Greek where Incest occurred, and cultures like the Norse where incest was a taboo are similar?

I'm still deciding a what pantheon I would get along with better. It's between the Greek and Egyptian pantheons but I'm leaning more towards Egyptian.

What are your reasons for following those deities?

Those three do have their places in my religion, as the sun, the moon and the earth are seen as goddesses, but I wouldn't say I actively worship any of them. They are more or less "minor" goddesses when it comes to practice, and most of my contacts with them (besides offerings and such every now and then) have been within magic practice, and mostly just with the sun goddess. But I couldn't really imagine myself as "sun worshipper" or anything like that...

But I guess that's just me, though. I'm not a "sun/moon/earth worshipper", but I have nothing against the paths that include that. It's just not my thing.

I follow a, yet to be named, God and goddess. The names haven't been given to me just yet as I am still searching along my path.

I would have to say that I am mostly an "earth worship". I worship Mother Earth more than any other I suppose. The connection is much stronger there. Some times when I can get way and just be with the Earth I feel so much something that I break down in tears. With out any/or a small bit of meditation. It's beautiful. I perform rituals to other deities as most of you do. It's good to be well rounded on your path I think.

For those who feel more connected to Earth worship, I was wondering if you felt that Earth Day should be a sabbat? I feel that it should be as it is focused on the Earth and the Earth as our Mother.

I have my own set of deities, must I really go over artificial entities once again? Any who, far as earth, moon, sun, etc... I don't in particular worship them, however, I do have a fairly strong tie to the Moon, almost like it's a home I've yet been to in ages.

Why do you think that is?
