I've heard a lot of talk about how uncoordinated AS people are, and I've seen it myself in how my brother is, but.... I find myself to be highly coordinated. I've been working with swords and knives for a couple years now (i'm a collector), and I've only ever cut myself a couple times. Granted, one of those was a dagger going into my wrist ( sweatdrop ), but still.
Is it just tht some AS people are uncoordinated?

My sense of balance is terrible, and I've had my ears checked to find out if someone was physically wrong, but nope. In general, I've always been rather clumsy, though taking ballet classes helped some when I was a little kid, as did marching band.
Now I do some light yoga, walking and meditation; I feel more confident in my abilities, but I will never a person who is labeled graceful. There's no doubt I'll always be prone to tripping, banging myself, dropping things and just the sort of random chaos that appears to follow me about on a daily basis. As of this summer, I've lightly sprained one ankle and broken the other, not to mention the dislocated fingers and torn tendons. Coordination and I will never really be friends.
