Pyra raced into the hall from her room, she started feeling a pain in her side. "No," she hissed as she ran through the hall. She went in search of anyone that she knew. Which was really limited to Logan, Scott. Those two she would talk to. She didn't know what was going on, and she was scared out of her mind.

 As Rahne made her way through the hallway she passed by a girl who was running. She stopped and turned to her "Excuse me, I was wondering if you could by any chance lead me to the main office. I must speak with the headmaster. It is of a very urgent matter."

Pyra stopped and shook her head as she studied the girl. "I don't know even how to get back to my room. This is my first day...I know I'm not much help," she said sadly before starting to walk off again. She didn't like talking to people that she didn't know. She knew how, but she wasn't the social butterfly.

Pyra stopped, grateful to have found Logan. "I...I don't know," she said, fear was in her eyes. "I checked my arms, and my legs...I'm bleeding but I don't know where from," she spat out. "I was taking a shower and there was red in the bottom." She looked up at Logan with fearful flames in her eyes. "Am I dying?"

Pyra's eyes questioned Logan. She didn't know who Storm was and she wasn't sure that she wanted Hank or anyone else to know. "Did it happen to you too," she asked, figuring that Logan was grown up and that is how he must have known that she wasn't dying. He had to have gone through whatever it is that she was going through.

He sighed, but remained calm, "It only happens to girls. You are having your period dear. But I know a few girls to who it happened to and Storm is one of them. However, Hank being a medical doctor as well as a scientist knows how to explain things a little better than me."

Pyra's eyes flinched at the word, 'scientist'. She closed her eyes, she didn't understand anything that Logan seemed to be saying. As far as she knew, a period was something that was found at the end of a sentence, sometimes. "So I'm not dying, and only girls get this....you're lucky," she almost hissed as her sides cramped up again. She wasn't trying to be mean but she wasn't exactly one that dealt well with pain.

New Story
Scott wandered in the hallways looking for the girl that he thought he saw. Lenora was her name, but her mutant name was Polaris. It had been a while since he had seen her. Then again, it had been a while since he had seen really anyone. He had been off in search of Pyra before he and Logan brought the girl of flames to the institute and then he went off for the weekend to take care of Alex.
He smiled slightly as he thought that this must be the month for all the females to get emotional. Though he much preferred Alex's and anyone else's emotions over Pyra's right now.

 Lorna stopped just short of the hall Xavier's office was down just as Scott left and shut the door behind him. She wiped the tears off her face with her sweater sleeve, and walked over to him. "Scott..." Her voice shook. "The next time Alex comes by...Tell him I'm not here." She tried to keep from crying, but it was no use. "...please..." The word came out, a choke sob. She wasn't sure he heard it, but she knew she was crying too hard, to try to say it again.

Scott saw Lorna in tears almost as soon as he shut the door to Xavier's office. He was right, she was back, and he had seen her earlier. He nodded. "Yeah, sure thing," he replied with worry in his voice. He gently laid a friendly hand on her back and began to slowly walk away from the door, but he stayed with Lorna. "What happened," he asked.
