i wanna see it too, BUT i doubt it will hold up to the first one.
i THINK the same voice actors are returning except for mushu. he is played by a comedian named Mark Moseley, he is well known for his impressions, and in this case, eddie murphy.
The gang of three, however DO have the same voice actors.
Gedde Watanabe as Ling
Harvey Fierstein as Yao
Jerry Tondo as Chien-Po.
they're a good trio, i like them whee

Just adding some stuff that I know to yours:

The three princesses are in arranged marriages, I think for some sort of political reason. Mulan doesn't agree with what they are doing.

This actually does look like a decent sequel, but I am not going to get my hopes too high.

Also the ancestors tell Mushu that once Mulan marries, he will no longer be her guardian. So Mushu tries to break up Shang and Mulan's plans.

On the Disney Channel, Mulan's voice actress appeared on Mike's Super Short Show to briefly discuss the upcoming sequel. She is quite lovely.

Oh boy, another rung in the ladder of Eisner's direct to video sequels. stare

Yeah, I kind of agree with you on that...I mean, I'm sure it's pretty decent, the first one was one of my favorite Disney movies and all, but I dunno...

I was disappointed with The Hunchback of Notre Dame II. It loked good on commercials, but after I have actually seen it...I wanted to kill myself just for the animation. Hopefully, Mulan II will not be like that, but like I said, I am not going to get my hopes up.

...Everything about Hunchback II made me want to kill myself. Most especially that insipid song that Jennifer Love Hewitt sings.

Disney sequels are like sticking your hand in a bear trap, once in a while, you make it out with the goods, but most of the time it snaps and gives you a nasty scar.

random anology ho!

I loved the moral of it, and some of the jokes ("That was a rhetorical question..."), but for the most part, I was displeased. It did not hold the charm or the suspense of this first one.

I finally saw it last night...or rather...near the ending of it cos I came in the middle of it. Of what I saw, it seemed better then msot of the sequals, sum bits were quite funny, I don't like the song that the princesses sang tho...it got on my nerves I'm sorry to say, twas lacking in traditional disney song quality...but that's just me. The animation was more floppy as well, so it wasn't too bad as I expected tho wink smile 3nodding
