About Warrior Of Light Warrior of Light is a hero that was pulled completely off Yoshitaka Amano's artwork from Final Fantasy. Because there was no character officially until Final Fantasy 2, many consider him fighter and later knight, as seen in his ex-mode.
This character is not called by name as Tidus was not called by name in either 10 or 10-2. So as a last minute thing, they just called WoL Warrior of Light , mainly because you cannot just come up with something right off the bat.
Though in dissidia, he plays an important role and though many consider himself the loner type, I consider him more of the leader of the entire group. Being a character who knew Garland and knew what would happen, naturally he took charge and went ahead even though it took him the longest to be granted a crystal.

Theories regarding Warrior Of Light Warrior Of Light origins- This is actually my theory regarding the appearance of the four warriors. When the world meets its darkest hour, the warriors of light will appear holding four crystals. Now does something seem wrong here? Of course, obviously no one would actually know the darkest hour unless all was lost. In this case, it was just starting with Garland's abduction of Princess Sarah. Does anyone else think it’s odd that they appeared to fight Garland and not scatter to save the crystals first? How did they get the crystals? Finally, how did they assemble?
If you follow Chrono Trigger at all, you will find that Lucca and Robo became aware of the planet as a conscious being as it used Crono and party as anti bodies to be rid of Lavos, a planet parasite that used humans to gain traits that would be beneficial for its growth by pushing the human evolution. I this case, the fiends were causing the crystals that kept balance to lose power, therefore hurting the planet in which the crystals supported. I like to think that the warriors of light ARE the crystals. Sorta like a last resort thing to better protect themselves. While the crystals lost power, they gave birth to the warriors and sent them off to the root of all evil, in this case, the Chaos Shrine. This would also explain why they were automatically skilled in whatever job they had, and also explain why they had smaller crystals of the original.
Warrior Of Light, demi god?- This is a theory I ran across a while back that tries to explain Warrior Of Light’s relationship with Cosmos. It is shown that she shows a bit more compassion or if you think too much, affection, to Warrior Of Light compared to the rest. This guy whose name I lost, thinks that Warrior Of Light is some sort of demi god that works like as a pawn for Cosmos. This is highly unlikely, but the possibility of him being a demi god can be on debate.
Cosmos and Warrior of Light, child of a goddess- This is another theory by me that ran into some troubles. Well as many would know, children of gods and goddesses often did work for them, such as cupid for his mother. It would explain why Cosmos seems much more affectionate towards WoL. It’s not completely impossible that a Goddess would send her own son to battle if the world was at stake. There was one person who stated, a mother wouldn’t send her son to his own death, well I’m gunna say this. Jecht was very harsh with Tidus. A Lion would push their cub off a cliff and raise those who were strong enough to climb back up. My mother was harsh with me, and hell, because of all the crap I’ve been through, I can survive three months on cocoa packets( Which sorta happened, if I didn’t find the cheese its). There could have been a possibility that WoL is doing it to defend both the world and his possible mother. Lenneth, Hrist, and Silmeria(If I remember right. Norse Myth has been a bit out of my mind for the last couple years) were daughters of Odin, and he sent them off to collect souls, and hell, Odin AND Thor’s sons joined Ragnarok. Mother’s are not as protective as many would make them, out to be. When you have a duty like Cosmos does, she can’t put personal feelings before the lives of everone.

Trivia Knight is used in the remake of 1's logo
WoL made his first beta appearance in Origins
When Warrior of Light uses Red, Blue, or White Fang, the fang itself is visible for a split second as he tosses the item into the air to activate the magic.
Alternate costume is to better look like Fighter.
