I've invested so much in may tank I can't even remember how much I've spent on it.

Go for the blue, pink or green starfish, they give green coins while the normal yellow ones just give normal gold coins.

I bought the dolphins and starfishes. The mermaids, I won from contests. At least, about 70% of what I have invested has been paid off :'D

A nice background and terrain go along way and make your tank more appealing. As for the fish, I have spent alot on this tank. But I have managed it all from booty grab. smile

I've invested a little over 600k into my tank. I got most of my fish when they were cheaper so I lucked out on things like the starfish, lilas, and my watermeat. I'd say saving up for a few mermaids would be worth it, by the time you save the gold the prices should go back down a bit, plus they live for 40 weeks so it gives you time to get the return on your investment. I'm planning on adding more watermeat once the kokeshi dolls die. The mini monsters are a lost investment, but I got them because I liked them. All my other fish I expect a return on.

Thanks very much. I quested it for a little over a 2 months with a hiatus included into that time frame. Save up for the fish first then save up for a background and maybe a few tank items. It doesn't take a lot of crap to make a great looking aquarium. If you're looking for good fish that are fairly high triggers but cheap, the Irawaddy Dolphins are pretty good. I went for diversity so I got dolphins and narwhals to throw in with my dark knight fish and starfish. I love the starfish, they're adorable, they have a high trigger rate and they drop a lot of gold. The turtles are pretty good as well, they live for awhile and they look cute and drop a lot of gold.
