In-Game Description: "A uniquely-evolved wyvern that calls the forest its home. It hides itself in the shadows and slyly stalks its prey with terrifying speed and tenacity. Its unique tail can take down a medium-sized monster in a single swish."
Information: A Nargacuga has black scales, wings, and fur; red wing webbing, and nightmarish red eyes, giving it the look and style of a predatory black panther. Its dark, feral appearance suggests that it may mainly be a nocturnal hunter. This wyvern has been sighted within Old Forest at night and daytime, Jungle, and also Swamp. When it's in rage mode its eyes glow bright red and leave a sort of trail of reddish yellow lines when Nargacuga moves. Also, its tail erects large spikes which can be fired and linked up with its attacks for devastating hits. Their vertebrae and muscles in their tails are extremely flexible, making the tail of Nargacuga also extendable, and also making its tail its most powerful weapon. Its scales at the end of the tail can also be shaken to produce rattling sounds like a rattlesnake. Hunters can often hear its tail rattle before hurling spikes, or before slamming its tail down.

A wyvern truly wrapped in mystery. Known to some as the black god and to others as the tyrant of fire, this large and brutal creature is known to the Guild simply as Akantor...
Information: Like the Tigrex, Akantor is of a similar build, although its wings have completely evolved into arms, preventing it from flying. It shares many of the same aspects of the Tigrex in both appearance and in battle, although due to its immense size its attacks are much slower. However, even though it is slow, it's so big you may not be able to escape its charge; you need to time it right, or you need a shield. Akantor is an unclassified species. However, due to the many similar traits of his cousin the Tigrex, many assume that it too is a Pseudo-Wyvern and has been classified as such. The Akantor, while enormous is slow, except when it charges, so most weapon types can effectively beat it with some trial and error. When the Akantor does its wind tunnel attack, a sonic bomb thrown correctly can stun him. Flash Bombs are only recommended to stop its charge as they freeze him for only a few seconds.
