Some people can work on more than one idea at once and some would start confusing ideas if they did. Discuss.

I can easily work on several short stories at once but with longer stories I find it quite hard. Generally with long stories I stick to one at a time unless I come to writers block or another chapter for a different story just flows out in easily or something.
