Humans don't get enough spotlight razz I generally loathe most non-human creations cause these days its all about "oh I love that human" blah blah crap. I would prefer a world with only humans or only non-humans, or at the very least a world where every non-human in existence doesn't fall for the same human evil

I agree! Humans ftw! Plus, the stories always hit that much closer to the heart when they're about humans. Alien beings can be great and powerful and wise, but there's always that feeling of "well, of course humans aren't that good - they're a different species!"
Non-humans usually feel like "the easy way out" of a plot problem. They can be made into anything the author wants, unlike humans whose way of thinking we already know. For example, whenever the plot calls for a near-perfect individual, it's always "bring in the elves!" Absolute evil without the complications of individual motivation? "Yeah, we got a storage of orcs for that."
Not that I don't appreciate a nice non-human race - they can be as fascinating as humans if treated right - but more often than not they're just a recipe for character two-dimensionality.

That is a good point Pad's, Humans are just as capable of being a saint or a devil razz Another good point too is that the stories do hit closer to home when its about a human and a human rather than a human and something else or something else and something else. We can imagine all we want but it's not the same.
