Have you told anyone around you that you write fanficiton? (As in your family and close friends.) Why or why not?

I've told my friends that I write fanfiction, and they're cool with it. If I have an OOC story, a Naruto fic, or a Pokemon fic, Kris is the one who wants to read it. If it's about Super Smash Bros., then I hand it over to Ronald.

I haven't told my mom directly yet, but she's probably figured it out by now. Whenever she bursts into my room and I'm writing, I'm always quick to close the notebook and say, "It's not done yet, Mom. You can't look at it yet."

I once told friends and family and they thought it was stupid so no one that I know who is within touching distance really knows lol well they do cause I told them at once point but they have probably forgotten it by now whee

Every single person I know online knows I write it though lol strange isn't it xd

I make your words my own, my friend. Exact same thing here, lol.

But I'm okay with that. It's not like it's something I could talk with them anyway. Plus, I really like my mornings as they are now... writing peacefully with the phone turned off, while everyone thinks I'm sleeping in.

ONe of my friends knows that I read it and that is all. All of my other friends think the stuff I am a fan of is lame. But everyone knows I create my own original stories! smile
