In the large, circular room, hundreds of shelves line the walls from floor to ceiling, several floors high. Stairs leading to the next balcony and level were on the left and right of the grand double door entrance. Hundreds of thousands of books were documented here, and all the night class students were allowed to access it. Each balcony floor had a rolling ladder that would reach books higher up on the shelves. The flooring was done in a cream colored tile, and there were a number of cushioned chairs and couches and tables off to the back of the room beneath the first balcony.

Kaname sat comfortably in the chair, enjoying the sounds of the fireplace crackling beside him. He placed the black king piece down onto the square, then looked up. "Check." He said to himself, picking up the white knight and putting it aside. He started to wish that Yuuki would play with him. Chess was a nice game. It requred skill and thought, and what better way to get Yuuki to think more than to play a game of chess with him? He chuckled.

Kaname turned his head, looking for the source of the voice. "Oh, hello. You are one of the new students. I dont believe we have met before." He nodded his head. "Im Kuran Kaname. What was your name again?"

mai sniffs the air for a moment and then smiles
"your a pureblood" mai say in a happy tone

Kaname nodded his head once. "Yes, I am." He motioned to the couch in front of him and the coffee table with the game of chess. "Would you care to have a seat?" He asked politely.

Yuki walked into the library, just looking for a book to read, when she saw Kaname and Mai. She silently picked out her book and went in a corner to read it. But instead of being silent, she hit a metal trash can near on of the book shelves creating a loud thunk noise. She looked over at Kaname and Mai looking back at her. She blushed, being embarrassed and walked toward them. "Hi, I'm Yuki, I havent met you before." she said with a smile. She walked over to Kaname, "Hi, kaname-senpai."

A young girl with long damp black hair and pale skin walked in without a single sound, her dark amber steel grey eyes scanned the room noticing Kaname, Mai, and another girl whom she never mat before. Thinking perhaps she should leave before getting noticed, she stealthily turned around and headed for the door until...

Kaname nodded to Mai, then looked at Yuuki, trying to not grin. He patted the empty spot next to him. "Care to sit with us, Yuuki?" He asked, his eyes dancing with amusement as he looked at her. He had noticed when the others had entered, but now that Yuuki was here, he paid closer attention to the others in the library. "None of you have to leave simply because i am here This is a library. Please feel free to enjoy yourselves."

A black haired girl turned around and exited immediately, slipping out while she still had a chance before anyone had a chance to notice her absence....

Shiki walked into the Library and sat down at an empty table by himself not noticing everyone else in there.

Ruka walked into the library and took a seat next to Shiki.
"hi" She greeted him. She was wondering where Rima was and why she wan't here with Shiki.
