Located down this hallway are intermediate to junior high students in 5-8th grade. The halls are carpeted with red and paintings of royalty hang on the walls.

Di Arion, Maruka's younger brother, walks down the hallway, admiring the ornate decorations and wondrous paintings. He was immediately entranced by the beauty, but then he was caught off-guard by the appalling lack of other students.

Arion stepped around his sister, gazing at the girl addressing Maruka. "Maru, who is this?"
Maruka turned and smiled at Sun. "That would be Sun." She put her head close to her brother's face. "Don't worry, she knows about us," she whispered, referring to their existence as vampires.

"Help?" Arion says in surprise. He turns toward his sister with eyes full of sorrow. "You told her, didn't you?"
"Indeed, I did, so sue me." Maruka said, trying to be playful yet considerate of her brother. "But keep in mind that would be a frivolous lawsuit."
Arion rolls his eyes, but slightly amused at Maru's joke. "I thank you, Sun-san, for offering help, but I'm not sure you can fight the association's judgment."

Arion smiled graciously, feeling his throat burn as he smelled Sun's blood. How could his sister ignore the scent so easily. "I did not mean actual combat, but thank you. To know someone would risk their life for yourself is very uplifting, but I think you would be slightly deterred from helping us if you knew how Kaname-sempai and Zero-sempai would think of your protest."

Me, being a block in that hope, would threaten Kaname's prosperous little society. Also, I may turn into a Level-E, which shall be a little reminiscent to Zero, don't you think? If I could possibly harm someone, I would be someone he may kill."

"I agree with Maru here," Arion said. "Vampires live by leeching of others. I refuse to do that by cutting down your relationships and then having you be harmed because of my nature."
