Life was going fine... Wolrd peace had finaly been reached... until the one day, known as "The end of the world"... Everyone should have died then. It would have been the end... but, for some reason, nobody died... Humankind began to go insanen, as the evil that had struck the world slowly left it, leaving the people to suffer for eturnity...Profile form:

Yuki awoke on a high hill. She slowly remembered what had happened... the dark night... the driving rain... the world being torn apart... the insanity of the humans. And she remembered being shot... about to finaly depart... but then everything blacked out...
She stood slowly. Her insane attackers were on the ground... they appeared to be dead. She suddenly noticed a driving pain in her chest, and slowly looked down to see an arrow their, peircing her heart. It was dawn now, and she realized that there was only a small bloodstain on her cloak, yet none on the ground... And she suddeny felt a strange tingling in her back... soon realizing the snow white angel wing that potruded from her left shoulder.
She stared at the horizon, shaking. Everything looked dead... and yet... she lived. She quivered a bit and ran of, searching for life in the world.

Yuki silently walked down the other side of the hill, unaware of the seemingly dead people behind her slowly rising. She attempted to fly, by because she only had one wing, she fell. The arrow, still stuck in her, was causing her a lot of pain and the wing was throwing off her balance a bit.

Animebreeze88 Saph silently walked down the other side of the hill, unaware of the seemingly dead people behind her slowly rising. She attempted to fly, by because she only had one wing, she fell. The arrow, still stuck in her, was causing her a lot of pain and the wing was throwing off her balance a bit. One of the bodies stood, shaking his head, yawning, and streaching. It looked over at her, staring a moment. "...You need some help?" He asked, voice sounding rough from the time he had not used it. He also was having a little trouble moving. He was going to need another injection soon.

Yuki suddenly turned and looked down the hill at him, some feathers falling from her wing. She looked at him, her eyes tinted with a pale, icy blue. She looked down at her arrow, then back up at him.
"Am I... dead?" She said slowly.

Animebreeze88 Saph suddenly turned and looked down the hill at him, some feathers falling from her wing. She looked at him, her eyes tinted with a pale, icy blue. She looked down at her arrow, then back up at him.
"Am I... dead?" She said slowly. He cracked his neck, popping his joints as he shrugged. "Depends on what you mean by 'dead'. If you mean your heart stopped beating, yes. If you mean that you are conciously aware of what is going on and able to interact with your inviornment in normal way, then no."

"What happened? Why aren't I dead?" "Just a moment..." He pulled out a serenge, shaking it before unlatching the collar at his neck and giving himself the injection. He rotated the joints around his head again, then latched on the collar again. "Preservitives. Limbers the joints. I don't know why we are not dead, but I heard a scientist saying something about a virus... For all I know this could be the afterlife, though."
