Yep, just what the title says. Introduce yourself here, and if you want, you can state why you want to learn Japanese and whatever else you want to impart.
So, I'll start. I really just recently started learning Japanese. I've always like the asian cultures, and I thought maybe learning one of the languages. Eventually, if I learn Japanese well enough, I'd love to take a trip over there, but who know when that'll happen.

I am the vice captain of Japanese Studies, and I'm also its mule. Not much to know other than that.
Eventually as the guild grows we (OmniaVanitus) will set it up for all donations to go here. That way we can use them for fun stuff like contest prizes and raffles.
But for know don't worry about.

コんいちわ! ラ裏でs。ジュうさん際でs。ドウゾよろ紙子お願い島s!
((Hi! My name is Laura. I'm 13 years old. Nice to meet you!))
(I hope I wrote all that right... I'm only a beginner in Japanese... D: )
Anyway: I'm really interested in learning japanese because in my opinion, it's a beautiful language. It's difficult to explain, but I just would really like to learn it.
I already know the Hiragana and Katakana alphabets. I know only *some* kanjii.
But I would really like to be able to speak, read, and write japanese.
I was in a japanese camp this summer. But it was only 3 weeks with only one hour of japanese class. . . It's not enough!
My mom has been finding classes over here where I live for me to take, but I haven't gotten around to it. In the mean time, I'm using the internet to help me with my studies. ^^

Deaths Sweet Lullaby: Honestly, to the bottom of my heart, I do not intend to offend, but you can get yourself into real trouble using kanji you don't know. With that being said, I think only one of the kanji you used is correct - the kanji for age. It looks like you understand how to say the introduction, but you should practice more! If you'd like I can help you practice spelling. (hint! wink )

Hi. My name is Helen. When I was in college I studied Japanese for about two years. After that during the Summer of 2009 I went to Japan to study Japanese. It was very pretty and fun. I purchased various manga. I am still translating them. It's a pleasure meeting you!
I've learned conversational Japanese and I'm willing to help with others that are learning. Please feel free to ask me for help at any time! Also from time to time, I'd like a bit of help with some of the translation work I'm doing with my manga.

I can't really control what it puts. D: But thanks, anyway! ^^

Konnichiwa!
My name is Krys {Short for Krystal but I hate my name so, grr!}
Im very interested in Japan and aim on visiting Tokyo one of these days once I graduate. from High School and all the great stuff.
Ive already begun to learn Hiragana and Katakana and the everyday basics, but I believe your Guild will be able to help me perfect my skills. Ive only memorized the Vowels and the "Ka's" and a few of the "Sa's". I have about two friends at my school who are basically like my teachers with the Japanese Languages. Though lately I haven't really had any time to get together with them and get any information for me brain due to all my classes and projects. My stupid school only provides Spanish as a Language Class so I can't take Japanese as a Class or else I would, and I don't have the money to take classes or anything over the Summer so I resort to the Internet with my spare time.
>__<
My friends consider me to be a level or two below becoming a good manga artist, but their crazy so I don't know if their words are True enough. All I know is that I ejoy drawing Anime and all that great stuff, but I seem to fail with drawing those cute Chibis. {Mine end up looking like mis-shaped elephants}
I have a hunger for Pocky and Yan-Yan, my favorite Japanese Snacks >:3
And a lil more, but that's the basics for that. It's mostly all stupid little tid bits but oh well, that's just me.

Welcome everyone.
It's almost daunting with having people who know more of the Japanese language than I do, but I suppose the good thing about it is that if I do mess up, you all will be more likly to catch my mistake so those who are learning from my guild won't get misinformation. (Oh the pressure.)
But I hope this guild will benifit all of you, and of course feel free to join the other guilds as well. It's always good to multiple resources when learning.

I can't really control what it puts. D: But thanks, anyway! ^^ You should be able to control it. Are you using Windows? Do you use the language toolbar? Or is there some special program you use?
If you use the language toolbar, I can help you learn how to use it properly so that you can pick which kanji you'd like to use (or for that matter not use).

Hello..im Runaru
Im very interested in learning Japanese. I've been studying it, but I haven't really been having much luck remembering most of what I have studied. Most of the Japanese I've been learning was from watching subbed anime.
