Before I start, I've always known I had some psychic abilities, but I've always been like afraid to show them to other people than myself, especially in the teen years. Here comes the story about when I decided to not be shy and humble about my abilities.
And sorry for my (sometimes) bad english!
Once upon a time...
...I was at this retreatcenter where there was a lot of courses in personal development (is it called that?) and mediumcourses and healing and such.
I stayed there for three weeks my first time and I worked really hard with myself, to learn that I really had the phsychic ability and trust in myself and my experiences.
So one night, me and three other women sat in the Satsangroom, playing guitar and drums and singing and such.. And suddenly we were not alone anymore. I said what I felt to the other women, that there were two really drunk people with us, a male and a female, and there were lots of sorrow within them.
The next day I asked around, and I was right. Before this guy who owned the retreatcenter bought the house it was a rehab for drug addicts, mostly alcohol. And there were also two who died from their problems, a male and a female...
And just about then, I realized I'd never ignore my senses again or put my beliefs aside. Since then I developed my intuition and occasionally I do some work as a medium. smile
