Drathi's General Story
Drathi's magical talent is mainly due to his relations to a Celestial race known as Wonderlanders. Drathi lost a lot of the powers that he was born with thanks to an experiment that placed an almost parasitic demon into his body, which had manifested itself into the form of Evil Drathi, his other personality. Drathi remembers nothing of his life before he was fifteen years old, but a reunion with his father explained everything. When given the chance to return to the sky, Drathi refused and stayed on the earth.
His Big Sister, The Mistress, and his Lovely Assisstant
A few months after Drathi awoke with amnesia, he met a woman named Devon, and shortly after they had went their separate ways, Devon was found by Drathi, wounded. She was nursed back to health and now they are as close as brother and sister; Devon would do anything to protect Drathi, just as he would for her. The two travelled together and Devon taught Drathi to control his other personality with his with, something she had experience with due to having a split personality herself for most of her life. Devon was the first to realize Drathi's talent with magic and traine dhim in the basic usage of it along with a style of hand to hand combat that would suit him.
A year ago, Devon and Drathi were approached by a woman as the passed through some mountains. This woman, calling herself the Sorceress of Black Ice, also noticed Drathi's talent and offered to take the boy under her wing to make him stronger. The Sorceress was very strict with Drathi, requiring him to call her "Mistress" and punishing him with seduction with the excuse that he needed to learn how to resist such tactics, in battle. The title Drathi receive under her was "The Violet Magician." During the times that Drathi was allowed to go look for his sister, he made money as a stage magician. One day, he met a girl about his age during a show. Drathi could see she had magical talent within her and they had become good friends. This girl became known as the Violet Magician Girl, whom always came out unharmed from Drathi's almost nightmarish magic tricks. As the months went by, Drathi began to develop feelings for her, and he told her. He did not move it anywhere and the only other person who knows about Drathi's crush on his assistant was his "Big Sister," Devon. Currently, Drathi is on a leave to research different forms of magic , so that he can strengthen himself.
The Mystic Eyes of Ice
After toiling for two years, the young ice mage had finally obtained the leevl of magic that his teacher and lovely assistant had attained. They require lots of energy to maintain, but the eys power up everyhing about him and are essential for when he takes the test to be an official ice mage. How did he get them? He was training for his rematch against Arkus, the Time Mage, when suddenly the whole area around him froze. he later looked in the mirror and noticed that his eyes were a snowy white.
To the East
One day, while Drathi was in the North Pole Drathi's teacher, the Sorceress of Black Ice. The Sorceress mentioned how the boy was to come of age the next year, and that he should study intensively to pass his tests. To see how far her student had come in his year of free research, the Sorceress challenged the boy to a duel. The last time Drathi fought her was of his request, this time it was the other way around. Drathi lost the duel, but not without impressing his teacher with his new tactics and his activation of the Mystic Eyes of Ice. It was merely experience and power overpowering Drathi now.
Drathi asked his teacher to give him one more year to train, so he can be sure of himself. His teacher smiled and gave him his second Research Leave. This time, Drathi leaves and heads to the east, where Asian mages will help him perfect his manipulaton of Mana--chi as they call it.
The Awakening of the Absolute Zero Magician
After so many fights in the Battle Dome, and winning and losing, Drathi had finally awoken his Signiture. All mages have a signiture, and a title that goes along with it. For the more experienced mages, they can maintain this form their whole lives, like Drathi's teacher. But for rookies like Drathi, this form can only last about the length of two fights. Drathi's Signiture is known as the Absolute Zero Magician, and he is the second one to ever live. The first one nearly ended the universe, because just as the name inplies, the Signiture causes the temperature around the mae to drop so quick that even parts of air can freeze. In space, which the first had died, it can slow down molecules to the point where they cannot move at all-- Absolute Zero.
Drathi's teacher had suspicions of Drathi's signiture for a long time, and she prepared him for such an event. All of Drathi's powers increase tenfold and his physical capabilities are also increased. In addition, Drathi's heart becomes cold, making him very serious and merciless.
The Graduation
On 6/19/11, Drathi graduated from the Arctic Magic Academy. During the commencement, all students were given a potion that tripled their powers and were inducted as full-fledged mages. Before this, Drathi had a falling out with his best friend. This event made the boy incredibly bitter, especially towards male. Almost every relationship he has had is now changed, because he now feels he can't trust anyone.
The Lovelaced Adventures
After redeeming himself in his best friend's eyes, Drathi developed a new motivation. He aimed to be stronger, but he wanted to enjoy the climb. As such, he developed a new style of spells that change depending on his emotions. They effect all of his spells and he calls them "Lovelaced" because of how the strongest of them come from love.
Drathi's new goal is to become a teacher, which will lead him on a whole new set of adventures.
Off to Greenland
Almost a year after his graduation from the academy, Drathi recieved an invitiation to be the mentor to a young girl in Greenland. After bidding a couple friends farewell, he set off on his walk. That's right, he walked to Greenland.
Suspicion
Camille's father had recently returned from business and his demeanor had changed. The normally distant man would consistantly drag Drathi away from his lectures to have him come up with solutions to seemingly simple questions. One day, Drathi refused and his employers rage was great enough to scare his daughter.
Drathi snapped his employer out of his rage without a fight, by making a compromise. However, deep inside, the ice mage could see he was being used. Something was going on, and if he wanted to figure out what, he'd need Camille safely away. He did not know where her sister had gone off to, but he left Camille with these instructions.
"Go and wait at the Battle Dome. You will find all sorts of people there; look for someone you know is one of my friends. If they ask what is going on, make up something."
A little under a month into his investigations, Drathi recieved a note and package from someone known as the King of Corpses. The idea of pledging his allegience to anyone was something strange to him. Even his employer knew that it would be too much to ask of him to give advice on courtly matters--the Ice Mage was a wanderer at heart.
However, this note gave Drathi an idea. With some careful work, he rewrapped the package and sealed the note,readdressing it to his employer. He was more than certain this would expose him for the dark arts he was practicing--and get the man out of the castle so that Drathi had more access to investigate.
The Battle Dome
In the Battle Dome, Drathi is very much a Pollyanna; a huge contrast to what he normally is known to be like. He very often is not fighting his opponents seriously, and if the fight is a total curbstomp, he apologizes for going overboard.
