Let assume that you were somehow stupid enough to give away your password to a dubious individual. You suddenly realize the error of your ways immediately after and you realize its to late... or is it?
Step One - If you are still in your account, CHANGE your password.
- My Gaia -> Account Settings
Tip: If the hacker logs into your account, this WILL be the first thing he does. Gaia accounts are incapable of supporting two users on one account. So if the hacker does log in while your still on, you WILL be booted off.
Step Two - The next step is dependant on a number of things:
A) If you still have your account AND all your items.
Report the Message that you recieved from the Hacker, and count yourself lucky. (99% of Hackers send them through PM)
- My Gaia -> Mail -> Message -> Report Message
B) If you still have your account but some of your valuables are missing.
Follow step A) but then also check your trade records. This will give you a general list of items you are missing, as well as the hackers mule username. Submit a hacking report.
- My Gaia -> Mail -> Message -> Report Message
- Shops -> Marketplace -> Trade
- Scroll down to the bottom of your screen -> Contact Us
C) If you have lost everything. You are NOT out of luck.
If you have a mule, you will have to submit a hacking report from there. If you don't, you will have to create one by registering with a new email address. After you have submitted the report, you must be patient as it will take several days before you get a response.

r. if they don't want to trace you. go change your password and give the old one. do something very diffenrnt from the old oen. if they go like this
say you password like this
p a s s w o r d, type in p a s s w o r d. if they give you the letter, it is best to stay nekkid from the time they see you for up to a year. you can create a backup account and send all gold ect, and put on cheap staters. waste their time, while you file a report. then to be safe, move that accont and don't go on it much. i had to go back to my profile after i was hacked to get most of my friends back. THEY WANT THE GOOD STUFF. if they send you a trade, just put in a thousand gold item and go, what gold? i only have 10 gold. my friend stole all my stuff and closed me off. then they think you were already hacked, and will leave. you may not be lucky, like me, but don't worry.

Yep you guys right! Like when I tried to log into my account it wouldnt let me in because the hacker was in there getting my stuff. I have no clue why they hacked me because at the time I only had 10,000 gold and not many valuables...and I was wearing mostly starters. Pretty stupid but, they think if you look cheap then they know your a newb and want to hack you because some people have a lot of gold but, dont spend.
Its really a different situation for everybody! xp

aha i got hacked like 49,000 gold an than i got gaiacash an i have 250k an this guy showed m3 this wed site an i went in to it an it log m3 of on gaia so i tryed log bac in but it wont let m3 go on an i tryed go on ma email but i fro got tha password an it really suck as hell ):
