Bonding is taken very seriously by dragons for they are very rarely broken, even by death. There are numerous tales of dragons whose bond-mate died, but continued to meet them through dreams.
It is unheard of for bonded dragons to mate with any dragon except their bond-mate, and it is rumored to be impossible.
Bonded dragons have larger litters than unbonded dragons and are able to mesh their magic together, boosting the effects.
Creating Bonds
-Only adult dragons may bond.
-You must complete at least one RP between the two dragons. They must already be in some kind of relationship or on the verge of getting together; simple meet and greet RPs will not count. This RP must be at least 1,000 words long.

* If the second dragon if owned by a different person, they must quote the first person's post and say "I agree."
Breaking Bonds
-If one owner has been missing (no posts on gaia for over two months) or quit the shop (no posts in GD for over three months), you may dissolve the bond with no penalty. The form does not need to be quoted by the second owner.
-If one dragon dies, there is a two month breeding penalty. If the surviving partner forms a bond with a new dragon, you lose the right to RP the pair meeting through dreams.
-If a plot falls through/you are no longer getting along with the other owner/whatever and both owners agree to dissolve the bond, there is a three month breeding penalty for both partners and the second owner must quote the first owners' post.
-If a plot falls through/you are no longer getting along with the other owner/whatever and only one person wants to dissolve the bond, then there is a five month breeding penalty for the owner that dissolved the bond and a one month penalty for the second owner.
