It had been a week since the Sentinels attacked the mansion and the Nightmare Lord had attacked Scott. There was one problems Scott faced...
....Planning his wedding....
It had also been a week since he got engaged with his high school sweet heart, Jean Gray. With the quietness going around and Scott waiting to hear from Tony Stark, Scott mostly spend his days training and spending time with Jean.
Scott let out a huge sigh as he sat down on the long crimson couch in the living room area. The fireplace not lit due to the summer season. The TV not on due to Scott trying to focus and the classes finally being in session. Scott looked out the window at the green grass. 'Maybe an out door wedding?' He thought to himself.
He scribbled it down and began to doodle. 'Hmm, dressed Jean will plan.. so Tuxes is my department.' He began to wonder what the theme colors were going to be. That led to the thought of what Jean had suggested their theme to be. He laughed to himself, still he couldn't shake the thought of Spade telling him to loosen up. Maybe it was what he needed.
Scott's head turned when the old grandfather clock began to ding warning the ears of it being 2:00 pm. The clock's sound haunted the quiet halls of the mansion. Scott looked out the window again. "If only you could be here, Professor."
Scott began to write some more with his plans to show Jean about their wedding. If she liked them, that is. It was their special day. Still Scott couldn't get the Sentinels off his mind. 'What if they attacked during the wedding..' or 'What if Sinister gets involved...' or worse...
Scott shook his head to get that thought out. He began to scribble some more, but he got distracted by the smell of something baking. This puzzled the young X-Man because no one should be in the kitchen, unless it was staff or...
He tilted his head to try to see down the hall. He shrugged to ignore it and began to doodle a heart with Jean's name in it. He was no Colossus, but he though of himself as a decent drawer. He sat his pad down and propped his feet on the couch. He laid his head on the arm rest and looked up at the ceiling.
'If only I could read minds... what would people want to eat at the wedding...' He sat up real quick with a serious look on his face. "WHO IS GOING TO BE MY BEST MAN?!"

He raised his eyebrow. "Actually, Storm, was wanting to watch the school while I was gone. He rubbed his chin. "Maybe you can help her."

"Sc-Scott!" Pierre cried, lunging through the door. He stopped, his heart beating down. His eyes darted around the room until they landed on Scot, confused and musing.
Once he caught his breath, Spades walked over to the man- forgetting his unspoken, immature rivalry- and lay his hand on Scott's shoulders.
"Scott," he said, gasping for breath, "Jean's out in the... Courtyard... She might be killing... Bishop... Or atleast beating the crud out his futuristic a**!"
Pierre stumbled for the door before turning back around and adding "We gotta go!"
((Continuing on the Courtyard, I think.))
