"So...the girl managed to escape..."
Xellos didn't respond to the monster's comment. He was lazily resting against a wall, waiting for something better to do. This job was starting to prove to be quite tedious, and it vexed him.
"Xellos."
Xellos lazily glanced up at the monster. "Follow them. We need that dragon." the creature said.Xellos sighed and pushed off the wall, a bit annoyed that he had to go and do something.
"Alright, I"m on it..." he said with a wave of his hand as he walked away. He didn't really feel like following that group around, but there wasn't anything he could really do about it.
'Oh well...at least I can play with Lina's group for a while...' he thought to himself. That made him a little happier. Grinning to himself, he walked away from their 'base of operations', and started his search for Lina's group.

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but...  Xellos sighed quietly as he reappeared in the dark craggy chamber. It was empty, which meant he had some time to himself. He leant his staff agains the wall beside him and sat down on the rocky ground, rubbing his head as if to ease a headache. This mission was starting to really annoy him. If Zellas hadn't told him to make sure it went right, he would never have bothered. And to think I have to obey these monsters too... he thought. That part annoyed him more. He didn't mind destroying the dragons...or if the humans went out with them. This world had to begin anew; that was the monster races' goal. But...he didn't like that they were making everything less fun for him. Even ordering him to attack that princess, Amelia, if his memory was correct. He would've prefered to have just left. But no...everything has to be more complicated than that...he shook his head. ....that, is a secret....

Nira Kuragari Success in this world....  The air inside the fortress seemed to drop lower as Nira Kuragari made her way towards the main chamber. Her thin lips pulled into a tight frown as she brushed back a lock of long black violet hair from her face. To say she was angry would be a horrible understatement. If anything, she was murderous. And she had all the right to be. Such a pest...the very idea that anyone would put someone like him in charge... she thought to herself. Even during the Battle of the Monster's Fall, he couldn't handle the responsibilites...and now he dares to call himself the strongest among us. Her blood red eyes narrowed as she attempted to keep her temper under control. A rare move for her. I mustn't do anything rash...Master Gausherra sent me here for a reason... she smirked as she remembered that conversation. I'll deal with little Xellos soon...as well as those pesky dragons... she thought with a malicious grin, which then immediately faded as she came into the main chamber. Xellos was relaxing against a wall, completely oblivious to what was going on around him. impudent little... Rage flickered across her eyes as she attacked, bombarding the area where he rested with large purple black spheres of power.
...Means destroying any obstacles....

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but... Xellos glanced over and immediately leapt out of the attack's path, and watched as it crashed into the craggy pillar he'd been leaning on. "Well, that was a little too close..." he exclaimed calmly. He looked towards the entrance to see who his attacker was. "Ah...Miss Nira. I must say, it's a surprise to see you again..." He tried to fake a pleasent grin, but found it a bit of a challenge. He never really liked Nira.....that, is a secret....

Nira Kuragari Success in this world.... Nira glared at the Mazoku in front of her, her dark crimson eyes narrowing to slits. "How could you let that brat get away from you...?! Your orders were to capture her, and to bring her HERE. And instead, you ALLOWED her to regroup with that troublesome Lina Inverse." she stated menacingly. Xellos didn't even flinch at her tone, which, for his credit, made him more of a fool.
...Means destroying any obstacles....

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but... "To be honest, I don't really see a problem with her traveling with Miss Lina's party. As long as she's brought here in time, along with that golden dragon, it doesn't really make much of a difference, now does it?" Xellos replied with a smug grin. He could tell instantly that his comment had angered Nira further, but it really didn't bother him. After all, she knew her place. Still, it was good for entertainment. "And I'd watch that temper if I were you, Miss Nira. You wouldn't want any trouble, especially with Lord Dynast Brasherra..." he said wagging his finger. Because of his reputation -and rank- in the Monster world, if Nira did anything out of line, it would mean serious problems for her. He looked at her, expectantly waiting for a rude come-back of some sort. ....that, is a secret....

Cerras snuck over to the blown up walls, getting into the building without a sound, listening to the two Mazoku fight. They were being foolish, standing around fighting when they could be solving their problems.
"Go get her back, then," Cerras said simply, fiddling with her dirk, before twirling it in her fingers. "We can't let them get too far. If the whole group gets together, then we'll have even more problems."
Then they wouldn't be able to get to their goal — they had to get Lina out of the way, in the very least.

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but... Xellos turned his head slightly and looked at the girl standing behind him. His teasing smirk widened briefly as he recognized her. "Well well, if it isn't Miss Cerras..." he said, having completely lost interest in Nira by now. "It's been a while." While he had little to no fondness for Nira, Cerras was something more along the lines of a friend. Or at least Xellos felt so anyway. He was rather amused that so many of the generals were now involved in this silly little plot. In the beginning, he'd been the only one assigned to handling the dragons. She must be very interested in this to have involved so many...he thought uninterestedly. "You have nothing to fear from Miss Lina being involved, Miss Cerras." He replied cordially. "Even if she does get involved, she'll as easy to deal with as an insect." ....that, is a secret....

"If you say so." Cerras muttered in a blunt tone, her crystal-blue eyes cold like ice. She rarely ever showed any feeling for anything, it was what made her such a great soldier.
"And, Mr. Xellos, I never said anything about Lina. " She looked to the side, her dirk still in hand.
" Don't assume ... It makes an a** out of U and ME ..." A bit more of feeling showed in these words, but not much more.
She looked up to Xellos, him being a much more powerful Mazoku, but she would never admit it.

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but... Xellos chuckled, clearly amused by Cerras's last comment. "Oh, come now, Miss Cerras. I only mentioned Miss Lina because she is the only one that be of any hinderance. Aside from her, the rest are all practically useless..." he said with a pleasant smile. In reality, Lina wasn't even worth that much praise. After all, he'd defeated her fairly easily. But he didn't feel like bringing that one up. That particular day hadn't been too good for him, anyway.((OOC: Xellos really did beat Lina's group, but I believe that was in Slayers Revolution)) ....that, is a secret....

"Well, since we can easily keep track of Miss Yume as long as she remains with Lina's group, we should focus our attention on locating the other dragon...Filia. And since they'll probably be looking for her as well, it'll be a simple matter to capture them both simulaneously." Xellos explained pleasantly. He wouldn't admit it, but he was rather looking forward to seeing Filia again. After all, she was a fun person to tease.....that, is a secret....

"So, are you saying, we're going to go search for her now?" Cerras held her cape open, showing all of her weapons and medicines/herbs inside. She was prepared to go and fight, plus, aid her two mazoku comrades when needed.
"I'm prepared, but if you two aren't, I'll wait." She stretched her arms out above her head, yawning.
God, all this bad-guy stuff was tiring.
"Eh, but, I'm a little tired too." She said truthfully, laughing.
Finally, she was showing some emotion.

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but... Xellos smirked slightly, amused by Cerra's confession. It wasn't often that she actually acted her age. He glanced over in Nira's general direction curiously. She was still glaring at him, and seemed to be holding back another rude comment. Working with her and Cerras would be interesting to say the least. And yet, he couldn't help but wonder if the rest would be showing up soon as well. If they did, things would definately get more complicated...for him anyway. "We can deal with that later. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some...business like errands to attend to..." he said with a rather sneaky grin. ....that, is a secret....
