5 out of 5
u play as any of the 10 heroes or 10 villains from the first 10 games (not mentioning secret characters here) allowing u to match them up against each other and see who is ultimately the most powerful from sephiroth (just for u chrono) to terra or the warrior of light who is ultimately the strongest the heros or villains.
great graphics you can really see the environment, and each character looks exatcly as you would think they did. cant say anythign against it here especiall since the environment is destructible as well
controls pretty good all around i do have to say sometimes on the psp its hard to hit the right buttons just right and the controls seem to be abit sticky from time to time but thats ok
the sounds in the game are good as well, cant say much about them didnt hear any problems with them music is right on and voices r good, and no problems with voice acting either
all in all great game i love it and recommend it

I have to agree with you on this one Lyle. Dissidia is quite an amazing and addictive game.
I got Sephiroth at lvl 67 right now and Cloud at 68. I just unlocked Shanotto the other day and now I'm working on unlock Gabranth.
Shanotto's voice is kind of a surprise though since I used to play FFXI a lot before for almost four years, and my character was from Windurst, therefore I completed all the Windurst quests/missions so I used to see Shanotto around the game a lot, but I expected her to sound something like a spoiled brat since she sort of acts stuck up in the game.
You're right though, the characters are what you would imagine them to be an the environments of each level are quite beautiful.
The features i love is being able to run along walls and slide along those magical stream lines.
The only annoying thing I mostly find in the game is the fact that sometimes some characters can be overpowering and the enemy always dodging your attacks on you until you can land that lucky hit.
All in all, I give this game 10/10 in my own opinion.

While I do find the game fun, I found a couple flaws that impedes this game's potential. I would like to mentions the story mode, first. It was generally easy, and seemed more of a chore to do, than anything else. The chess-like map? I found that to be an overall retarded idea. The story itself, is what I would expect from a Final Fantasy game. Not a big fan, personally, but I can understand while some people would like it. Another thing that I found bad was the unbalanced characters. Characters like Terra and ExDeath are God-Tier, and definately broken. Terra's EX form make it impossible to fight back, whille she casts spells at you until you're broken. ExDeath and his almost unbreakable defence is another thing that can definately be a pain in the a**. And of course, there are definately those characters that are unimaginably weak. While I do not wish to mention them, due to the fact that some players reading this may love this character dearly and use him/her effectively, they do require A LOT more attention and practice to use than Terra or ExDeath. That being said, I give this game a 7.5/10. Definately worth checking it out.

ahh but see i love playing those weak guys and beating good players who use broken guys but its still amazing fun for me. and the story line of almost any fighting game is usually a chore to do man, the story line is just there to get u used to the game, and decently good before sending you off to fight real players... unless your something like the inward chaos levels. now that final part sucks.
and yes sephiroth sucks, but you wont hurt no ones feelings cause its an oppinion of a character in a game that has the caharacter based off another game... its not ment to be right lol

Thank you for the gift idea for my brother I'm sure he'll love it since he plays Final Fantasy games. I'll look into it for him as soon as possible.

He, Kuja, Zidane and Squall are my favorites, although I haven't actually played the game in awhile. As Iz said, story mode is like a chore... and it's tedious... and I quit, lol.
