Dark magic is always the greatest fascination in dream worlds and this one, was no different. The world's first and greatest sorceress tried an experiment. She wished to bring a demon, the first, to this world, but something went wrong.
In the explosion darkness covered the sky and for a time that evening, the stars were gone, the moon was gone, fire could not be lit, and everything was in pure darkness.
When the world awoke the next morning, no one quite felt . . . human.
Everyone has become possessed by the spirit of an animal. These spirits amplify the humans power and add a little to their magic powers and allow them to speak to other animals of their species. (example, a cheatah spirit would give you greater speed when you're running)
But did that experiment really go wrong and is there a way to change back?
