Please make sure that you read the rules before posting!
If we see you not obeying the rules, then we will have to give you a warning and, if we warn you too much, it could lead to a suspension from the guild or even expulsion.

1. No Spamming. The only place where you are allowed to post random stuff is in the chatterbox. Please refrain from making pointless topics as it gets way too bulky and prevents our guild from looking good.
2. Follow the TOS. Make sure that you obey the TOS that is set forth for all of Gaia. Even though this guild is private, we still have to obey the rules of Gaia.
3. Keep Cussing Limited. As this site is PG-13, cussing is alright. Just make sure you don't spam cuss and you use curse words tastefully. Cussing out of hand would be throwing cuss words back and forth that don't make sense and are unneeded.
4. No TXT TLK or 1337. I am very serious about this rule. I will not tolerate people not speaking English. If English is a second language to you, then just try your best, I am understanding to that. As for people that do know English, you have no excuse to write txt or 1337, so type properly.
5. Keep Shorthand and Acronyms to a Limit. While it is fine to use shorthand sometimes (ex instead of example) and acronyms (D/P/P instead of Diamond, Pearl and Platinum), just remember that not everyone out there understands what they are. So if someone asks, don't mock them for not knowing. I also will not tolerate people writing a sentence with more than two words that are either shorthanded or made into an acronym.
6. Be Polite/ No Flaming. Respect one another. We want to keep this guild a happy place with people that know how to be courteous. There is to be no insulting anyone, no bullying and no other disorderly conduct. Remember also that "flaming" is a violation of the Gaia TOS and if you do too much of it, not only will you be banned, I will also report you to a moderator.
7. Keep Topics in the Right Forum. As I'm sure you noticed, there are different subforums. Make sure that you read what the subforums are and that, if you want to make a new topic, you put your topic in the right forum. For example, if you want to start your own RP go to the RP forum. To write your own story go to the artist/writers forum.
8. Do Not Make Repeat Threads. Before making your own thread, look around first to make sure no one already has that thread open. If there is already a thread, post there first. If you want to make a thread and you found an old thread like yours in the recycle bin only, you are allowed to make your own or ask a Moderator to take it out of the recycle bin for you.
9. Do Not Write in Big Font. While it is alright to put big font in a header or put big font in your text to emphasize something, refrain from posting solely in large font. "Large Font" is considered font that is larger than font size 14.
10. Respect the Moderators. If a moderator tells you to do or not to do something, make sure you listen to them. I choose moderators very carefully and they are given a position of authority to make sure that this guild keeps running smoothly. If you feel like there is a moderator stepping out of line, please take it up with the vice captain or myself and we will see what we can do about it.
11. Be Patient. Remember that people on Gaia have lives outside of Gaia. Just because no one is posting in a few hours or even a couple days doesn't mean no one will post. Don't start complaining because people aren't posting fast enough.
12. Don't Double Post Often. While double-posting is allowed (posting right after you just posted), unless it is an art thread or story thread you made, please do not do it too much. If you forgot to say something, then edit your post instead of reposting to correct it.
13. No Quoting Quotes That Are Quoted. If you must quote someone, please don't make a huge list of quotes. I don't want to see more than two stacked quotes per post so, if they need to be quoted, delete old quotes. Posting single quotes with a remark multiple times in one post is fine - just don't quote quotes that are inside of quotes. Also, please refrain from quoting the first post of any thread. Usually this is an information post and just talking about it without quoting is fine.
14. Do Not Quote Pictures. There is nothing more annoying than repeat pictures. Please, please, please do not quote them! If your quoting someone's post that has a picture, where the picture was write something like "(picture)" so that it doesn't get too bulky in threads. We want things to look nice, not cluttered.
15. No Page Stretching. Refrain from posting long things without spaces to make the page wider and also refrain from posting a large image that would stretch the page. If you want to share a large picture, give us a link instead of posting the code for it. Any page stretching posts will be deleted without second thought.
16. Don't Bump Threads. Please do not bump in a thread unless the thread has fallen off the first page and you don't want it to die. Bumping will be considered a form of "spam" unless you do it wisely.
17. Read the First Post in a Thread Before You Post. Please make sure you know what the thread is before you start posting in it. It helps prevent you from being confused as well as helps to make sure that all posts you make are relevant.
