I guess I could've made a topic like this sooner. ^^ Where was my mind at. XD
I assume we know what cosplay is but if not it's the whole act of dressing up like your favorite anime character. Some people make their costumes and other buy things and alter them to fit the character. It's fun to do. biggrin
Anyway if you cosplay you can post here and it doesn't even have to be Yugioh characters.

I have never cosplayed before, bt come May I will be going to Anime Boston as Yami no Yuugi.
I have the dye and gel for my hair already, but am not entirely sure I will be able to pull it off. *crosses fingers*

That's so cool! When I went last year I only saw three Yuugiou cosplayers, and they were all Bakura. My friend was going to go as Kaiba, but decided against it because then we would have to act like we hated each other the whole time ^^;. But have a Yuugi to go with would be sweet.

My friend cosplays Bakura...well actually two of them one doing Yami Bakura and the other as Ryou. We have the whole 'Yami/Hikari' thing going on I guess in a way. I also cosplay Thief King Bakura which is fun with the other two because then we torment Yami. Which means Yugi has to be all nice and attentive later on. wink
Maybe you'll find a Yuugi.

Yeah, I'm the one who cosplays Ryou Bakura with Khene. I also cosplay Joey Wheeler, Mokuba Kaiba, several Yugioh Cards, and Mana from the Pharaoh's Memory arc. The same friend who cosplays Yami Bakura also cosplays Kaiba and Priest Seth. It's fun when all of us are able to be at the same con cause then there are a bunch of Yugioh characters running around the con. We usually devote one entire day to the anime as a group and very often Khene and I devote entire con weekends to the series. smile
I also do a fair amount of cosplays that are not related to Yugioh. I love making the costumes for and then getting the chance to dress as my favorite characters from many different series. It's fun.

I'm going to cosplay Touzoku-ou in animecon(Finland) ^^. I hope my costume will be beautiful!
I would cosplay as Yuugi if I would know how to make that hair, 'cause I have perfect personality to cosplay him ^^ And I'm short ninja

It's not that hard really. Just learn to sew or find someone to make the costumes for you.

Heh... Come May and August I'll probably be Mai Valentine because I have WAY too big a bust to pull off Yuugi or anyone else... I envy everyone else for either being a boy or having a smaller bust than me. crying
If I Do manage to pull off anyone though, I'd LOVE to be Yuugi... My best friend (who's taller than me) could cosplay as Rebecca (since she's way smarter than me) she could chase me while I find my Yami... Yes... CLING TO YOUR YAMI FOR DEAR LIFE!

I wanna cosplay but my parents would never let me (they think anime is for babies)... crying
Personally, I think I can cosplay Yugi: my bangs look kinda like his and I'm the same height. All I need is some hairdye and his clothes...
