Okay. I was playing the "A Troublesome Pair" (Rathian/Rathalos 6star urgent) and was working on the Rathalos when little miss Rathian came flying in and joined the fight. Instead of fighting, I left the zone until one of them left too. It took about five minutes but the Rathian flew away and I saw a gray dot on the map. I went to the area and there was the dead Rathalos! I don't know if the Rathian killed him or those annoying vespoids but either way it made the quest easier.

Well I recently experienced what a yama tsukami (Including at least a dozen abandons...) was like
It beat me sensless, until i got with its attack pattern and started our last battle
so one of its attacks spits out a few thunderbugs, the catch is they explode
so i let one slip past and it cost me (a smidge of health) it sent me flying to the lower level of the tower and straight through the door to get back to the top level
irony much?
(And yes it was fantastic battle, and in the end i stuck it out and won!!!)

It was out of pure luck, while I was cutting down at a Rathian, my Felyne companion landed the finishing blow. It was hilarious.

This one had me freaking out. It was my first monoblos, and this thing was ready to croak. unfortunately so was I. (mind you this was mh2f without the handy little cats.) I have no idea what to do when a cephalos comes to the rescue. It leaps up and does that annoying trick where it spits sand and it hit the monoblos. Dead as a doornail. I was freaking out, it was hilarious/a miracle.

I have to say that these things (though odd and probably not intentionally put in the game) make it a lot more interesting.
Now this one is not so positive. I am working my way up to HR3 in MHFU so I was doing the four star Swamp Khezu quest. I was on my last chance and he was limping toward the shock trap I set up and I loaded my tranq shots. As I am doing this, the annoying Genprey lunge and paralyze me and then the Khezu shoots his electric bolts as I am standing up knocking me down again. So now I am at like 1% of my health and no healing items and then the Khezu roars then shock tackles me.
I wish I would have recorded it. I don't think that could happen again if i tried.

this isnt reallly a specific quest but mostly when im questing and im close combat with a monster my cat decides to throw bombs nocking me down and getting me stuck in a corner so the my enemy monster can hit me constantly without me having any chance of getting away -.-

coloredwater this isnt reallly a specific quest but mostly when im questing and im close combat with a monster my cat decides to throw bombs nocking me down and getting me stuck in a corner so the my enemy monster can hit me constantly without me having any chance of getting away -.- You're not alone. My cat Edgar did that alot and now he just charges in crazy and I don't even have him with the berseker skill. He has El Atk Dragon, The one where he steals things, and hyperdrive. He has helped though when I was sleep bombing a kirin, he threw his bomb at the large barrel boms I set up and then the kirin was one hit from death!

^ Take it on battles and normally after fighting a hard monster it will be able to learn more skills. My cat Edgar (my main cat) started with nothing but he now has Hyperdrive and some other good skills.
The bombs have helped me alot. I was fighting a Lunastra and was doing okay but I needed to heal and the creature kept homing charging me and thank the heavens I was near the exit point and my felynes bomb knocked me to the next zone where I healed then destroyed that Lunastra!

My friend and I duoed a high rank Kirin with hammers for...I think a elemental attack+ jewel he needed or something. Anyway xD he did the triple pound and for the upswing he sent the kirin and me flying in the air killing it. I was laughing so hard I almost forgot to carve. The screen shot for him was flinging the kirin and me into the air while mine was in midair with the kirin blaugh

one of mine was when i was killing an azure rathlos on forest and hills i knocked its tail off and it was in area four and it got stuck on that large boulder thing and i couldnt carve it

Another fun one that I read is intentional. When fighting a Rathian and there are Velociprey in the area, the Velociprey will attack it even after death. During my first ever Rathian quest I tried this becuase I could not capture it (forgot traps!!!) and when it went to the cave area of the jungle, I climbed on a ledge and let the Velociprey do their thing. It took about 7 minutes though...

Dual Diablos (Four Horns Quest):
The regular Diablos had been weakened, tail cut off and both horns cut off biggrin . It had already dug underground and wrecked my shock trap crying . So I set another one and I see him about to charge. He roars and starts running towards me and then he gets caught 4laugh . As I throw the second tranq bomb, Mr. Black Diablos lunges up from the sand, killing regular Diablos and messing me up eek xp .
But thats not all, eek
As I am chasing Mr. BD around hacking him to bits, my normally weapon Felyne decides to switch to bombs and keeps throwing them at BD and knocking me down where BD steamrolls me twice scream burning_eyes . This goes on until Mr. BD begins to limp towards my last shock trap twisted . I have no healing items left and am at the minimum HP and I know that one more hit to me or the BD will kill him/me and I see my Felyne ready another bomb eek eek . I quickly did the longsword unsheath attack and my bomb wielding kitty throws it and kills the BD gonk crying eek . I subsequently went back to my home and switched Felynes to punish him. xp

Well first though i guess it isn't really funny to anyone other than me, I've killed a shogun ceanataur with a large barrel bomb though i was stuck between the shell and its leg when i kicked the bomb so it died and i flew off like like rocket >.>(all of this during the commander of the flames quest)
secondly during the Basarios: Unseen Peril quest, I coaxed the Basarios into running into an explosive rock which inevitably killed it. Also on the same quest, it did the same thing but when it didn't die after running into the rock, when i turned around....it died, like a second or two after it stopped just behind me(i assume that it was just a delay from the explosion, though an Ioprey did jumped at its head so...it could be anything i guess)
