Got the announcement then did you?
Well Im sure if you did you will have noticed that its pretty short, I had to do some major editing you see, since you can only have a maximum of 1500 characters.
Id like you all to give me feedback on my Ezine idea, and on the little teaser I issued with it. Because of the limit on the number of characters I can type into each message, I'm considering using the announcement function as a way of showing the Ezines highlights, while posting the full piece here, on the main forum.
Oh and if your curious, heres the unedited version of our Guilds first ever announcement, with extra content! heart
Greetings guild members. This is Omnipotent Uncertainties speaking, or typing as the case may be neutral .
Since the announcement that guild leaders were now permited to issue er... announcements...to their guild peers, Ive been putting some serious thought into how I should use my weekly broadcast, and the evil hemisphere of my brain has schemed up a nice little application.
henceforth, starting two weeks from now, Ill begin issuing a forthnightly (bi-weekly) GIC magazine, or Ezine if you will.
What can one expect from such a Ezine? Well essentially, Ill be posting links to interesting sites and forums, videos, short stories, poetry and other such content.
Expect the wierd, the wonderful and the thought provoking. And afterwards, why not come into the guild have have a little discussion about it? wink , Ill be posting an official thread for discussion on each issue in the "Main Atrium" or main forum of our guild, the one that branches into all the other forums.
Of course, Id like to make each issue as eventful as possible, but I can hardly spend all day on youtube and google trolling the net for interesting news and such, so I do implore you all to submit ANYTHING that you feel could be used in this Ezine, weather its a great film or peice of literature that I can inform the guild about, or if its just a song you find particularly fantastic, send me the details and a link where applicable via a PM and Ill consider it for the next issue. Thanks biggrin
So! to give you a little appitizer for the comming issues, may I present:
Sand Art, a fantastic live performance given by a Japanese artist who , I regret to say, I cannot name. Using a simple box of sand and a projector, he creates staggering works of art, each one better than the last, each one derived from the last! Its a bit slow at first, but he gets quite warmed up by the third minute, so do let it run its course.

Also, "Still Alive" One of my personal favorite songs of all time, a charming melody from the end of the smash hit puzzle game "Portal". The music is strange, but the lyrics will make you laugh out loud, particularly if you played the game. Either way, its a wonderful song.

Next I'm quite proud to present our own gnomes-san's short story, "Fand". With an original story and pacing reminiscent of the way in which ancient folklore is written, this is a piece I strongly urge you all to check out, provided you havnt already.
