Saw my ex a while back and...well, the results just made me sad :< I wasn't bothered by the fact that she was with someone, but what bothered me is that she used to be sweet and conservative, and when I saw her she was wearing a tight, low-cut top, a mini-skirt, and lots of makeup with her hair dyed red...she completely changed into every-other-single...hussy ...so I made this poem. How else to get it out of my system, eh?
Comment if you wish.
It was the first glance I had of you in many months. I didn't know that I had carved out your soul that much. I didn't mean to turn you into one of them. Revealing clothes and an outlook on life so negative.
I said to find someone much better but you found a clone. When you're standing next to him you almost seem alone. Are you really that young lady that I left behind? Cover the body and instead reveal your lovely mind.
Can you count all of your true friends on invisible hands? All of the false ones try to change you with all their demands. Don't mind the attention if they don't look into your eyes. All of the nothings sound so sweet but they're nothing but lies.
I know I broke you but repair is beyond my control. There's only one person who can restore you fully whole. Take it upon yourself to show them who you really are. Travel through the past to find you haven't gone that far.
You might not hear or see the messages I dream out loud. They may not find you because you're just lost among the crowd. Still, one can only hope that one day you'll stand out again. Because of something real, not something flashy and pretend.

Mezalyth Cover the body and instead reveal your lovely mind. The poem was nice as a whole, but this line really stood out to me. I likes it!
