"The grave yard again..." Azran said wistfully as he entered the battlefield. "I guess Kobushi really wanted to make this as close to what the final round of the exam would have been if we had officially had it." he said with a slight grin as he adjusted his freshly minted chunnin vest that lay underneath his trench coat while waiting for his foe to show up.

"Heh, maybe we can save them the trouble." Said Azran as he casually leaned against a tombstone while secretly slipping an explosive tag onto the back.

Standing up he walked over towards Kobushi until he was only standing a few feet away. "Ready?" He asked but before his foe could respond he slammed a smoke bomb to the ground.

With a snap his Azran's form was enveloped by a cloud of smoke while at the same time the timer on explosive tag he had placed earlier finished counting down causing it to detonate with a loud bang giving Azran a small opening.

Taking advantage of the noise to cover his tracks he dove behind a large gravestone to hide while forming a bushin that jumped out of the smoke cloud in an attempt to lure Kobushi away in the opposite direction.

Of course the simple bushin didn't stand a chance against a stick of dynamite and was destroyed in an instant as the stick detonated with a loud bang.

In that instance a kunai came flying from the smoke cloud Azran had created earlier, it's course aimed straight at Kobushi's lighter even as the real Azran was changing positions in an attempt to circle behind his foe.

Hearing the distinctive clang of metal against plastic Azran grinned knowing he had hit his mark. "Time for phase 2." he thought concentrating chakra into his feet for a brief moment before leaping high into the air in order to get a good view of the battlefield.

Spotting Kobushi running he quickly pulled out a water balloon out of his trench coat and lopped it at his foe like a fastball in an attempt to drench him.

Only unlike his battle with Ayumi this water balloon wasn't filled with Water but rather Methanol not that you'd be able to tell the difference just by looking at it.

Colorless, and somewhat sweet smelling the liquid was slightly poisonous. But Azran's coal wasn't to poison his foe. No Methanol also happened to be highly volatile and more importantly it was flammable!!!

Azran watched at his water ballon hit it's mark and smirked. "Phase two complete. Phase three start." He muttered to himself as he watched Koubshi whip a little bit of the liqud off then stick it in his mouth causing him to sweetdrop. "Does he put any strange substance in his mouth? What if it had been cyinide or something?" Azran thought to himself.

"Only if they have to" He replied. He had no real intention of setting Kobushi on fire if he didn't have to. The Methanol was merely to discourage him from using any explosives that required a spark to light.

Using his electric charge jutsu he pumped electricty into the claws of his clawshot as he came swooping down towards Kobushi and deliberately slashed at his left arm knowing that it was made of metal and would conduct the charge straight into foe's nervous system if he connected.

Seeing Kobushi pull out the shovel and hold it out as if it where a spear Azran simply shrugged mentally and switched his target from Kobushi's arm to the shovel's head since it would be far easier to tag and would probably conduct the electricity he was about to unleash just as well anyhow.

In an amazing display of agility Azran grabbed hold of the shovel with his clawed left hand using his momentum to flip himself over his foe even as the charge he had stored inside the claws flowed freely into the shovel at the moment of contact in an attempt to shock Kobushi with enough voltage to temporarily stun him.

Azran had taken a gamble on what material the shaft of the shovel was made of, and now he paid for his mistake. His zap hadn't worked nearly as well as he had been expecting and so he was caught unprepared as suddenly his foe whirled around.

A loud gong sound rang thought the air and Azran's vision flashed red then black as the metal shovel collided with his skull knocking him to the ground. Luckily Azran was a pretty tough guy, given some of his extreme almost Manndar like training crashing into trees and what would have otherwise been a sure knockout blow only stunned him a bit, but darn if it didn't hurt.

Blood slowly trickled down the side of Azran's face and he gritted his teeth against the pain. "Gotta take the shovel out of the equation before he hits me like that again." he thought to himself as he pushed off against the ground hard with one hand spinning around even as he kicked himself up to to his feet.

With blinding speed his right hand reached down to the hilt of his Tanto as he quick drew it and attempted to cut the wooden shaft of the shovel in one lightning fast slash.
