Based on a request, and I had an idea to do this at one point too. I'm going to create a Video Game Evolution RP topic for all of those who wish to create their own characters and use it for this RP day by day or hour by hour rather than waiting once a week for me to create my chapter by chapter.
I still plan to write it chapter by chapter... but hopefully I'll get more people to join in this way as well to get them into my story. I also may post this in the other RP boards in the main Gaia forum to get people that way...
I'd like to use the same character form as in my second VGE2 story, yet you don't have to fill out all of the options for your character in the form for this RP, but the better it'd make your character if you do. ^^

Okay, I'm going to start off with my character: Chronofantasy the Sonic.
Chronofantasy the Sonic was walking around the planet of Fantasi. There he spotted a lot of cool and new things. He was curious as to what his purpose and future adventure would be around this planet and realm. Perhaps there were other planets out there that needed his help. Could he be part of a greater cause.
In the meantime while he waited around, he took out his sword and brushed up on his magical spells. He ran into a nearby forest, seeking monsters to fight and train on his skills. A new place required him to do some new training and perhaps learn some new skills so that he could be well prepared.
Off in the distance, while in this forest he heard some odd noises. With his curiousity he slowly went forward to approach these noises...

The whole point of roleplaying is that two or more people sort of collaborate a story and communicate their characters through a stream of storylines based off one main idea/ideas, almost like a roleplaying game, and allow the stories to continue on and on.
I'll use some of my imagination in the story just as you can use some imagination in the story so that we all come up with our own ideas for the story. So you have to come up with some ideas for your characters in the story and type out what actions they are doing when related to a certain situation or confronted with certain characters.
Anyways, I'll try to continue a little based with your characters.

Chrono Fantasy the Sonic ran over to the noise, and there he spotted some blonde-haired figure. This person was being chased by this huge, enormous monster with a gigantic mouth.
Chrono Fantasy the Sonic ran towards the horrid scene and started casting a magical fire blast at the monster's mouth. Without any luck though, his flame missed the monster by an inch, accidently catching fire to a tree nearby. This tree started to burn, its flames spreading out rapidly...

Game that character is in: Wild ARMs(and Alter Code:F)
Merged Name: Accel Roughnight
Age: 16(in mind, at least)
Gender: Male
Appearance: (visual aid) An amalgam of Reploid and Holmcross, Accel tends toward the latter, lithe and athletic though not without his origin's tendency for Hilariously Oversized(cowboy) Boots.
Weapon: His trusted Axl Bullets, capable of rapid-firing low-powered plasma shots at roughly the rate of a sub-machinegun.
Ability: The merge has modified Axl's original Copy Chip ability somewhat, changing it from full-on replication of other Reploids(pretty useless in a place where he might be the only one around) to allowing him access to Rudy's full compliment of ARMs, both separate weapons and Cartridges used through his own firearms.
World choice: Fantasi
About your character: In the Soul of Light's rush for new warriors, two were plucked from the infinite span of realms to aid in the war: Axl, a young and ofttimes foolhardy soldier from a post-apocalyptic Earth held fast in a war of its own, and Rudy Roughnight, a soft-spoken, soul-searching wanderer from the world of Filgaia. As it's happened many times before, the instability of being ripped between dimensions caused a bit of a mishap, forcing the two entities to merge before both were lost. Of all the stupid things...It's not that he didn't appreciate the change of scenery -- going from a dim, dusty warehouse with the stench of oil blanketing the place to a sunny meadow just on the edge of a nice, deciduous wood would make anyone happy -- but Accel hadn't quite come to terms with his new dilemma. For one, he was roughly three hundred pounds lighter, thanks to a drastic makeover. Heavy armor, though not nearly as heavy as other reploids he could think of, was replaced with just a jacket and frankly stupid-looking boots. His helmet was nowhere to be seen either, sort of a mixed blessing: his neck was certainly happier for it, but man was that some helmet hair. And second, he'd gone and left X and Zero in the middle of a firefight! All those sweet moves, bullets and sword trails going this way and that amid a glorious storm of explosions... just the sort of chaotic cacophony that thrilled him to no end! But boy, was he gonna catch flak for popping out of existence like that, if they even knew he was gone, I'm gone... will I ever see them again? Cecilia, Jack... Jane... all of you, please, I want to see you aga--THAT. That right there. That nagging little voice in the back of his head, prattling on about things and people he'd never heard of. Maybe it was that blue-haired guy he'd seen for all of a second before landing dignity-first in the grass. Whoever it belonged to, it was really starting to get to him. Accel's hand moved instinctively to one of his guns, gripping it firmly, longingly as he walked. At least he had something familiar to hang on to. The forest ahead seemed as good a place to go as any, seeing nothing else interesting for miles...

With the flames burning down the tree and spreading out to the whole forest. Chrono Fantasy the Sonic rushed around, casting as much water spells as he could muster. He was getting out of breath. His spells weren't powerful enough to put out this gigantic mass of flames.
His only option now was to flee the forest and let it burn down to ashes, unless by some miracle rain would start to pour down on him and the forest.
Chrono Fantasy casted the spell Haste on himself. Using his quick sonic powers, he ran and ran so fast that he was out of that forest within seconds.
He watched the forest's fire spread and spread into a ball of fire, and watched the forest slowly burn down to the ground.
Then all of a sudden, once he had left this forest a minute ago, he felt drops of rain fall down on his face.
Chrono Fantasy the Sonic gazed up at the skies and saw that the clouds were darkening and the nimbo clouds were getting heavier with spoiled liquid.
The Clouds were releasing their extra weight and more and more rain started to fall down on him and his entire setting.
The rain was strong and heavy and in a matter of minutes, the whole forest fire was put out, leaving behind some ruined tree branches that would later need to mend and regrow.
Chrono Fantasy the sonic sighed with relief and turned around to head back towards the Soul of Light. By now, there must be more people ready to head off to that large fight.
As Chrono Fantasy turned around, he spotted a young male who had grasped onto his guns. "Uh oh..." Chrono Fantasy the Sonic thought to himself. He slowly walked by the man, hoping to avoid any form of conflict.

(Oh right, the forest was burning. |D Hah, way to forget that in my initial post~)
A burning forest, put out by the quickest squall he'd ever seen... and only one person running from it? If that didn't scream suspicious, nothing did. Not thinking to keep his hand on his gun, Accel darted after the fleeing figure.
"Hey!" His gait faltered a bit once he got into clear eyeshot of the 'person'. Could you even call that a person? Short, sorta spiny(not that he was one to talk about spikes), and what was with the forest... there might still be survivors! I have to go save them--
Accel shook his head, returning to his pursuit. "You, wait up! Do you know where this is?!" The Good Angel might've had a point, but considering the forest was immolated when he got there, he wasn't sure there were any survivors to be so altruistic about.

Game that character is in: Metal Gear Solid
Secondary Video game character choice (Merged):Torn
Game that character is in: Jak II/Jak 3 (Jak 2 Version)
Merged Name: Big Boss Torn
Age: Hm... Well Considerably in 40's..(I'm guessing anyways)
Gender: Male
Appearance: (Well I am trying to draw him anyways ^_^") Tallish dark brown hair, long ears, eyepatch hiding a missing eye, tall, equipped with lots of weapons, green outfit with armor on legs and arms. Cigarette.
Weapon: An quick gun that shoots silent bullets while having a bit of blue eco in the gun.. Dangerous if not spotted, also a small knife for CQC if you get too close.
Ability: The merge has changed Torn's usually calmer attitude but less angry after taking on the job to watch over Haven city to rough and rowdy, and very egotistical after taking on Big Boss's personality. Torn gets access to Big Big boss's several weapons, which he aims to compliment it with his world's eco, while Big Boss has access to Torn's world's eco technology to speed up bullets without seeing them. The little tiny knife provides both of them backup in case anything goes wrong.
About your character:
After the Soul of Light's rush from looking for new warriors, he happened to be in a rush, and thought of two new people to join the aid of the war: Torn, an calm but often loud and grouchy Commander from Haven City, and Big Boss, an stealth master with was great with battle tactics and various types of weapons. After both of them being ripped through separate dimensions caused mass confusion and frustration before both of them were forced to join into one body, before they would be missing from their worlds.

Big boss frowned "Shut up Torn... I'm in no mood to deal with your problems...I'm not happy about this either..."
Torn growled "Don't tell me what to do.." Let's just move on before both of us decide to kill each other in the one body."
The half solider, half elf saw a forest ahead, (rather a burned one). The first thing on Big Boss Torn's mind was not rather why the forest was actually burned down but who the other two people were in front of him...
Big boss stopped placing an hand on a weapon noticing the merged person in front of him had a gun right away, but Torn was thinking "We don't need to be so cautious, these people might be friends and potential allies..."
Big boss frowned "Or Enemies"
Big Boss Torn moved closer already having a hand on the gun, close by noting the Short, Small squall, and the tall, brown hair figure from a bit far away for a second... (Accell)
Torn frowned "I've worked as a commander yet I know when something is wrong... Stop Waiting"

Game that character is from: My brain!
Merged Name: Roxas Bladeheart
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: About 6 foot tall, short, dark brown, spiky hair with bangs. Always wears a black leather coat, eyepatch, stolid look, blue jeans with chains, spiked belt, black leather steel-toed boots.
Weapon: Sunblade; Powerful, red-metallic-colored hefty blade with an orange flame symbol with a sun in the middle. The sun in the middle is actually an incredibly rare stone that allows the blade of a sword to burst into flames, as well as increasing blade sharpness. Long, leather-bound handle.
Secondary Weapon: Moonreaper: Powerful, blue-metallic-colored hefty blade with a turquoise star symbol with a crescent moon in the middle. The crescent moon allows the blade of a sword to occasionally freeze, causing ice damage and increasing blade speed and endurance. Long leather-bound handle.
Special Ability: Can interlock the two swords together, creating a double handed weapon, doing twice the damage, at twice the speed. Mostly spins this weapon around, causing blizzards and infernos that appear near enemies.
World Choice: Fantasi
About my Character: Roxas Bladeheart's past remains a mystery.

They had come. It was no surprise to him. The Dark Hearts had come, and it was up to him to stop them. Roxas wiped the sweat from his brow. It was time. He roared, and the Dark Hearts spun around, surprised; they were not expecting this. Roxas pulled out his weapons of choice, Sunblade and Moonreaper, and charged towards the nearest of his enemies. It had no time to react, and was quickly slashed, and disappeared into nothingness, as if it had never been there. Soon enough, the spellcasters were firing away with their magic, much to Roxas' aggravation. Cowards! he thought. Don't they have any regular foot soldiers? He quickly deflected the spells with his swords, and charged at the nearest spellcaster, slashing all the way, preparing for the kill. --To be continued

Age: looks 17-ish
Gender: female
Appearance: human with the head and tail of a wolf, and covered in white fur. To those with pure hearts, they can see ceremonial red markings, and wing-like protrusions on the shoulders, wrists, and ankles; and tail looks more elaborate. Wears Yuna's Gunner outfit from FFX-2
Weapon: Celestial Brush
Secondary Weapon (Optional): two handguns
Ability: Can freeze time temporarily, only to use celestial brush, which can manipulate the world around her. Can also run very quickly on four legs.
World choice (Killio or Fantasi): Fantasi
About your character: Ammy is the Japanese Sun Goddess, and she has been taken from the Celestial Plain only twice before, both because of Orochi. Orochi, and the God of Darkness, Yami, are dead, so Ammy knows that some other evil is around. Yuna is a kind-hearted young woman, and so happily helps Ammy defeat whatever evil is around.

Ammyna was walking around this new world, but it was a rather funny sight. Yuna was mostly in control, but Ammy was a wolf, so when Ammyna walked, it was half up-right and half crouched.
Ammy, just let me take control, ok?
*nods*, but if we have to run, four legs are faster.

Just then, the forest in front of them started to catch ablaze.
Oh no, what should we do?

Using the Celestial Brush, Ammy painted the sign for Deluge, which would create a storm heavy enough to put out the fire. It took quite a bit of energy, but thanks to the String of Beads item Ammy carries around, she felt no weaker.
After the fire went out Ammy thought: We must run. Quickly. We need to search for survivors
So Ammyna ran quickly, on all fours, at a speed that even Sonic the Hedgehog would appreciate. Then, Ammyna saw them, three figures. One was rather spiny; one looked young, but was wielding two guns; and one who seems to have seen many a battle.
Ammy and Yuna both figured that, if worst came to worst, Ammy could use her Veil of Mist ability to slow time, and get out safely, or use Power Slash to deflect any bullets.
So Ammyna approached all three figures, and said: "Umm...Hello. My name is Ammyna. I mean no harm. What's going on here, and who are you?

Chrono Fantasy the Hedgehog stared at the amiable man that stood tall, high above his own height.
That man asked him a question but shortly took off in pursuit. Chrono Fantasy the Hedgehog contemplated his decision to follow and trail behind this hurried man, or perhaps he could return back to the Soul of Light who might have been waiting for him.
Before he could make his decision, a small, dark portal appeared from behind him out of no where. A great gust of wind knocked him over and absorbed his very body into this dark portal.
Chrono Fantasy the Hedgehog was spiralling around inside a realm of no others. Flashes of images appeared before his eyes. He gazed at the sights of many other adventurers and their current places.
One was a spiky-haired teenage boy confronting a dark heart, another was that man he saw before, reaching the forest, looking around anxiously in this forest.
Other characters came into view in this very dark place, but the final image was the mixed face of a huge beast-fercious monster, which snarled viciously in violence.
Was this the Mega Villain that the Soul of Light spoke of? He did not get a chance to find out any further until he hit the cold, dark grass.
