Hey everybody, I was just coloring, and I came up with a great idea for a thread. For all of you parents (and parents-to-be), what games/toys are you excited to have your kids play with?
I know I get really excited knowing that I get to color, play with Hot Wheels, do puzzles, and play with Legos with Declan! xd Plus, there's all the classic board games, like Hi-Ho Cherry-O!, Candyland, and all the junior versions of my favorite games (Clue, Monopoly, etc.)! I guess I'm still a kid at heart! blaugh

▽▽▽Yeah, blocks are awesome! Not those weird kinetix, though. I don't like those. Andrew's really excited about Lincoln (Linkin?) Logs. He used to play with those all the time as a kid, so he's uber stoked about Declan getting to play with them! lol △△△

Grace's favorite toys right now are all the things that are not really toys. Coasters, old plastic gift cards/credit cards, laundry baskets....ya know. Stuff that you don't really pay for or cheap stuff that really has no educational value. LOL

ok now laundry baskets have GREAT educational value. In and out, how much can this hold ? estimating a value awsome things can be learned from a lundry basket! Beside folding clothes! Building, gravity,It also makes a good doll bed, agreat ship the list goes on and on!

My Alex is into drawing toys right now. Dry erase boards and magnetic tablets. And anything with wheels.

I'm really looking forward to her playing dress up!
I've already got patterns to make hooded capes (like Little Red Riding Hood) and Alice in Wonderland-style dresses with pinafores.

I'm not sure it qualifies as a toy but I really want to get Alex one of those car shaped beds. The only thing that is stopping me, other than the price, is that his crib is one of the 3 in 1's so he's already got a toddler bed there. I just think the car shaped bed is so cool.
