Welcome to Yuletide Wishes a Romance role play set during Christmas in the city of Domino. If you want to join just post here and I'll add you. If I'm not online at the time you ask to join feel free to go ahead and post since I don't see a reason why I wouldn't want anyone here in the RP. biggrin

I don't really have one except that I want this to be strickly romance. Characters being all lovely-dovey with one another and nice cuddles and warm fuzzies and the like. There might be some problems, some break up's, angst and love triangles (who knows maybe even a threesome or something ^_~) but I leave that to the people playing the respective characters.

Yami went downstairs and sat on the sofa, fumming from their newest fights. they had been argueing for a while now, and right before Chirstmas made it worse. he kind of forgot why they had started fighting in the first place, but know he knew that he wouldn't be in the mood for a civil talk with yugi for a while. he was tempted to burn the gift he gave yugi in the fire that burned beside him

This was suppose to be a happy time of the year, but at the moment it sure didn't seem like it. In fact, it hadn't seemed too happy for him for a few months now and he didn't really understand why. Why did things have to change? Did he even remember what had happened to have them start this fight?
Oh yeah....he remembered...he didn't want to remember but he did. He blushed slightly as her wrapped his arms around his pillow tighter than before. Tightly closing his eyes to hold back the tears that were forming he buried his face in his pillow. This wasn't fair but then again this was all his fault pretty much. But, it hadn't been the way it looked.

Yami growled as his mind went through their latest fight. he then looked at the christmas gift under the tree, and the temptaion to burn it was even more real. He ran back upstairs where he had left his jacket the night before after he came home. he didn't even look at yugi.
"i'm leaving."
he said, not meaning what it sounded like. he ment he was just going out for a little while, but his mouth said something different

Yami coming into the room made him jump slightly. He hadn't been expecting him to come back there so fast. For a moment he was hopeful that they could talk about it so he could try to explain, again, what had happened. But then he noticed how angry he was and he looked down at the pillow.
I you would just let me explain....
He said softly then he blinked at the announcement.
L....leaving? But...you can't....I mean...don't...I need you.
He grabbed at Yami's arm, pleading with him to stay, his eyes still filled with tears.

Yami looked at yugi, still anger.
"cailm down, i'm just going out for a little while. maybe in that time you could screw someone else."
he said pulling his arm away from yugi's grasp and threw his coat on.
"ive had enough talking to you. you only make me madder."

It wasn't like that at all!
How many times now had he said that reply to the same comment that Atem just threw at him. He hated this, hated having been placed in the situation that the other had seen. Everything had been going so well for them and then he mistepped...without even meaning to. It all just sort of happened...if Atem knew the truth.
But whatever...
He said softly as he left his arm fall to his side.

yami rushed out of the house, slaming the door behind him. he walked for a while, walking by homes with loving couples inside, and then shops advertising gift giving to those close to you, things that usually cailmed yami down a bit to what happened. this time of the year effected him like that. he came back after a few hours, his hair full of snow and his nose bright red from the cold.
"yugi, i'm back."
he said, sounding better then when he left

Yugi had curled himself into a ball on his bed, facing the wall. He was just staring blankly at the wall and wondering what he could say or do to make Yami see what had really happened. A few more tears rolled down his cheeks as the hours passed. Not too long before Yami returned Yugi had gotten up and he was looking at the present he had gotten for him...the one he hadn't wrapped yet and he sighed at the small box.
'All ruined...'
He was about to put the box away when he heard him return and he dropped the box on the floor.
Damn...
He whispered as he ran to gather the box in his hand. He then went to the top of the stairs and looked down them then he ran down the stairs still holding the box tightly in his hands.
You came back?

"i told you i would. i said i was going out to cool off."
he said shaking the snow out of his hair.
"sorry if i came home too soon."
he said looking up at yugi on the stairs. he the tear stains and the sad face.
"you've been crying?"
he asked, going up stairs to put his jacket away. he never put it in the coat closet.

I guess you cooled off rather quickly with the snow.
It was meant as a joke and under normal cirsumstances it would've sounded funny, bt to Yugi's ears it fell flat and he frowned. He put the box in his pocket then and shook his head.
You didn't come back too soon, I'm happy you came back at all...
He watched him walk by and resisted the urge to grab at him. He looked down at his feet and nodded a mute reply to Yami on the question of him having ben crying. He seemed to be doing alot of that and he didn't like it.
Is there anything I can get you?
He did ask softly.

he said, ignoring the attempted joke. he walked over and sat on the bed that they shared. lately he had been sleeping on te sofa downstairs.
"you want to talk?"
he asked remembering yugi's plea earlier.
"what do you want to say?"
he asked him. more willing to listen now that he had time to himself
