Background: Her whole family grew up in the middle of the bustling Celadon City, but when her father almost died from a heart attack they packed up and moved to Pallet Town. Jayne at first didn't like it at all and missed her friends in Celadon, but she soon learned to love the clean air and peaceful atmosphere. She finally got the nerve to start on her journey when she turned 14, but it took a while to get things "set up". But, today she REALLY starts on her journey.
