The other day I had a low... so bad... that I could literally feel my blood sugar plummeting. I must of consumed like... 80 carbs just to get it to stabilize.

While this happened however, my jaw, some cheeks, and mouth went numb / "asleep" / tingly feeling etc.

Has this ever happened to you guys before when going low? It really freaked me out >_<;

Yes. Being a hypoglycemic,iv experienced this many times. Actually,that's one of my common symptoms when im low. Sometimes, I even get that tingly feeling in my finger tips and toes.

This has happened to me as well.
At first it scared me a bit, since at the time it was a deviation of how I normally got with lows, but since then it's mainstreamed into becoming a common symptom for me.

My lips and tongue go numb, and I get a bitter taste in my mouth, to whereas before I just got shaky and dizzy.

I asked my doctor about this change and she said that it was normal for the symptoms to deviate the longer you have had diabetes/hypoglycemia.

When i get low, I don't feel anything. It is really scary. Once I checked before I ate lunch and it was 34. I had just been running and I felt fine....it scared me big time

Sometimes that happens to me.
And other times I'm super low, and I don't feel anything.

I can usually feel my blood sugar going down. But I've never had numbness or tingling. I do feel extremely tired though and it makes it hard for me to have the energy to get up and move.

Sometimes when my blood sugar is low at night and I'm sleeping my body will wake me up to let me know I'm low, it's really weird.
