Hello and welcome all those who wish to be adopted!
I'm temporary Guild Captain Are, and this is just going to be an easy rundown on how this forum will work. :3 So sit tight and please make sure to read everything so you don't get stuck wondering what to do, how to do it, or if you're going to get in trouble. XD

First up, Rules!
As always, obey both Gaia's ToS and AaG's rules.
Be kind and courteous when replying to threads.
If you don't like someone who wants to be adopted or you don't like their post, just move on. Don't go in and say "You're stupid", "Nobody would adopt you", ect.
Everyone has a right to hold thread specific rules. If they don't want people who aren't interested in adopting them to post, respect that. Follow their rules (unless it leads you to break one of mine).
Those of you who are looking to be adopted, however, do not have a right to harass people who broke a rule, or to be cruel to anyone in your thread. If someone broke a rule, ask them to leave. If they do it twice, tell me and I will deal with it.
If something someone posted offends you, do not stomp into their thread to yell at them for it. These are personal spaces and putting "OMG YOU HATE GOD?!?!" on their page is rude. It is just as easy to PM them or not post at all as it is to barge in and tell them you're offended.
Other than that, just have fun!

Okay! So in this forum, you'll be posting one thread for yourself, if you are interested in being adopted. This is your space. You want people to see you. So, how do you go about that? I'll give you a few ideas, but ultimately it's up to you!
Tell 'em how it is!
When looking to adopt, most (emphasis on most) Gaians will be interested in who you are. They want to know if you have anything in common with them, if you're that shade of quirky they've never seen before, so on and so forth. They want to know who they are adopting, so best thing to have is a good, solid description of who you are!
"I like stuff" isn't enough to go off of. People often are left asking "Like what?". So when you put something down, look at it and ask yourself "Like What?". If it's pretty self explanatory, you're good, but if it leaves you with hundreds of answers, better rethink it.
While people want to know who you are, there are a few rules as to what you can and cannot put down.
You may not put in your real name, first or last.
You may not put in your home, work or mailing address.
You may not put in your phone number.
You may not put in your email (this is more to avoid account hacking then anything).
You may put in your nickname.
You may put in your country.
You may put in other forms of contact such as your name on other games (Neopets, World of Warcraft, ect.)
These are just to keep everyone safe. If you've got anything else you think may not be allowed, but you aren't sure, feel free to ask.
Strut your stuff!
Decorate! Don't be afraid to take that pixel paint and splash it all around your posts! Be creative, be expressive, be yourself! Feel free to snag more than one post for explanation and show-offness! Of course, you are not required to do this, but it certainly couldn't hurt, right?
Get in on the know-how!
Ask questions! Make a list of questions you'd like to know from potential adopters and have them answer it! It's always good for both parties to know each other, and if they don't have their own post on the Adopters thread, then it's good to get some info now.
Finally, don't get discouraged!
It may take a little while to be adopted. All things take time. But don't let that upset you or get you down! Just because you don't have a post within a day or two, don't go and delete your thread or anything!
Remember, these are just simple suggestions. You can put as much or as little as you want into your posts. <3

You don't need to ask if you'd like to post something. Feel free to go ahead and make your post, but remember! Only one post per person!
If you'd like your post cleared out of replies because you're done/going to reuse it, feel free to ask and I'll gladly help clean it out for you, but do not post another one. I want to try and keep this as clutter-free and easy to manage as possible. Thank you!

Let me introduce myself:
My name is Valentine, or V (which ever you prefer)
I love to Writing song, poems, and short stories. and on my spar time I sleep, eat and observing things. I know that last part sounds crazy but I love to sit back and just watch things. redface
My favorite colors are red, black, and white, but really I like every color except purple. As for music I listen to just about anything (very few Rap and country songs) MOSTLY rock, emo, and puck rock, scream o ( Heavy metal)
Now that I got the general stuff out of the way.
Here's a little more about me
I'm a big burst of energy, meaning, I'm very spontaneous (you never will know what I'll do next) and that's kind of what makes me so fun to be around!!! "I'm a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day."
Its very easy to upset me and very easy to make me cry. (so.....try not to plz) LOL.
For some reason I don't act my age at all, but that's okay, because that's what makes me all the more interesting. ^_^ *giggles* It may seem like I'm naive and stupid, but don't get me wrong I have a very HIGH intellect and know when I'm being deceived. *evil laugh*
If your thinking about adopting me, you should totally just DO IT!!!

I have been on Gaia since 9 years ago! ^-^ I'm a regular! Or at least I like to think so! x3
I'm sometimes always active and I like to be cause you never know what Gaia is doing! It's crazy since they first started! :3
I love drawing (It's a big part of my life) and have been drawing since like... 12 years ago! and only recently I've been drawing avatars! =O
I love the stars and I find astrology to be very interesting!
I love cooking and cleaning! strange? not really, I've been doing it for so long I'm used to it! :3
I'm a very all around kinda gal! :3 I'm nice, and very considerate. Morals and dignity are a big part of my life!
I'm shy and quite and dislike starting conversations, but don't get me wrong, I can if I have a good topic on my mind! :3
I dislike fights! and arguing... >_< It hurts and makes me want to cry..
I sometimes misinterpret what people type .. So I might think your mad at me, if not let me know! D;
I'm very loving and caring, and sometimes I put others well being before my own... It's a bad habit, but it feels good anyway to help others! ^-^
I love staying out on summer nights, the smell of the air is just great!
I would like to be adopted because... Well, It would be a great experience! I've only recently been wanting to be adopted, just to be with someone great and meet lots of people.
