Appearance: A short brown haired girl with dark brown eyes. Her skin is unusually pale for people from her hold because of it's location on the ocean. None the less, since being in Telgar her skin tone hasn't lightened. Apparently she just can't tan. Her body is very round and soft, and her eyes are very gentle and round. She has very little resemblance to her elder brother, but she's still fairly young. She often wears her hair tied back and always wears long dresses.
Personality: A soft spoken young lady. She is a hopeless romantic and often stares at people for long periods of time while her mind works up a fictional history for them. She is often unsure of herself and cowers behind R'lie, who she is hardly seperated from. Rita prefers talking to laundry than to people, though a certain strong willed individual may be able to pull her out of her shell long enough to realize how sweet she can be.
History: Rita was 12 when R'lie was chosen to go to Telgar as a candidate and insisted that she be allowed to go with him. After confronting her parents on the topic they decided it would be good for her. Being in a Weyr with new people might change her personality and allow her to grow up in a free enviroment so that she could return and find a suitable husband. It's been four years since then and Rita still has not returned home and has hardly changed.
The good thing: she's been considered as a candidate.
The bad news: She's terrified to her wits end of being rejected.
