Greetings, ladies and gentlemen! I am pleased to bring you, for your amusement and enjoyment..... Name That Tune!


How to Play
Anyone can play. 20 songs will be chosen at random from my playlist (to start at least) and I will post, in no specific order, one line from the lyrics that do NOT contain the title of the song. Everyone then will have the chance to guess the title and artist of the song (or if it's from, say, a musical, the show that it's from). To be fair, I request that people not do a lyric search and really try to guess on their own. As the songs are guessed correctly, I will strike out the lyric and post the title and artist, as well as the name of the person who guessed it correctly. After all the songs have been guessed correctly, the names of the top three "guessers" will be posted in the first post of the thread.

To keep the game going, after the first set of songs have been guessed the person who won the first round will have first dibs on posting the next 20 songs from their playlist. It will be up to them, if they choose to post songs, to keep up with the guesses. If no new songs are posted after, say, a week, the next round is up for grabs and whoever wants to post songs next can go for it, but will still need to keep up on the guesses. The results of all rounds will still be posted in the first post.

As this is just for fun, there are no prizes (mostly because I'm broke sweatdrop ). Have at it!

...I like that game biggrin ... though I'm not too sure about the other songs - maybe we'd have more randomness if the person who guessed a tune could propose another in exchange? whee
