Hey there, Sniper Gamers! Gaia Guilds got a new feature! Awesome. Now we can send you all sorts of announcements like Gaia does, only ours are specifically related to the Guild. We aren't the kind to bombard with announcements, so you shouldn't worry about getting these too often. Nothing has been decided on as far as how we're doing this, but I doubt it'll be more than once or twice a month-ish. If you get more than that, it'd probably be because we have cool events or important things to share with you guys. But only occasionally. Trust us, they'll be interesting!

If you're a member of the Sniper Guild and haven't stopped in for a while or maybe forgotten about us-- Hi! We miss you! Considering this seems to be sending to a good 400 users and we have about 50 or so active users, this may be a bit of change. It's always nice to have people come back or visit. Even Zaeyde pops in once in a while! We tend to be pretty welcoming to old faces, so come on in.

So, a few things are new.

• If you're reading this going "holy crap the SG is still running?", well, obviously! We're on Game XXXIV (34) now. We are RELENTLESS.
  
  
• We've got a new event coming up! The Sniper's Masquerade is currently being aimed for Halloween weekend! The Guild will be inviting many other guilds and threads with GCD roots to help host games and contests over Halloween. If you want to learn more, or want to help out, pop into the thread on the event.
  
  
• The Guild Business & Suggestions Forum is getting more use out of it! Stop in to give ideas on how to improve the guild and comment on changes or issues you feel the guild needs to discuss. There's also a new thread to get a look at what Kroo's talking about so you don't feel left out by the private subforum.
  
  
• We have a new Subforum called Durem Backalleys! The forum is a Roleplay and Commerce synthesis at the moment, so feel free to open an RP thread or a shop to sell, buy, or trade what every you want!

In lieu of sounding a tad dorky trying to recruit you, we'll just say what we're looking for: GM apps have slowed so we're looking for people with writing abilities who are willing to spend a couple weeks to a month running a game and being pretty gory in general. Be warned, this takes a lot of time and effort and is a little harder than it looks.

But hey, if it sounds pretty cool to you, don't let us scare you away. We're always looking for GameMasters to write and run games. If you're interested, just send a PM to GCDSG-Gamemaster with an entry. Your entry must include one (1) Sniping or equivilant update, one (1) crazed killing or equivilant update, one (1) jailing update, and a desciption of how you would run your game.

It's great practice for writing, seen by lots of users, and it's always fun to try and thing of inventive ways to murder your fellow guildmembers!
