Powers/Abilities: Can produce a napalm-like substance from the palms of his hands. The substance doesn’t burn him and ignites on contact with oxygen.
Weapon: Longsword, small throwing knives, and a hatchet.
Personality: Michael is hyperactive loose cannon. He is almost Always extremely energetic (to the point where you either want to burst out laughing or kill him), but the littlest thing can set him off. He can be serious when he want/needs to be, but that isn’t very often. Michael is a very happy person and is hardly ever depressed. He is very charming and charismatic, and can make friends with just about anyone (though he doesn’t give his trust to just anyone). His goal in life is to make Caitlin laugh. Or see the Institute destroyed. Whichever comes first.
Bio: Michael is the great-grandson of Caitlin Morretti (His last name was changed by marriage), and is the cousin of Caitlin Morretti. Nobody really thought that he was an Altered, until he developed two large lumps on each of his shoulder blades at age 15. The doctors at Retribution thought that they were tumors, until the “lumps” grew a bit larger and sprouted black feathers. Michaels wings continued to grow rapidly for two years. Michael (and everyone else) thought that was it for his Altered powers. That was until one day, in a sparring session with a friend of his, Michael’s wooden sword burst into flames, thanks to a strange orange liquid that came out of his palms. Needless to say, the sparring session ended, and Michael was taken into relative isolation until he could gain control over his new power. After about four years this was able to happen.

Description or Picture: Michael has medium brown skin, shaggy black hair, and blue-green eyes. He is almost six feet tall and is slightly muscular (but not overtly so). Michaels’s most noticeable feature is the pair of large black wings prortruding from his back(which he can actually fly with). He almost always wears a thin tank top that allows his wings to be uninhibited, while not requiring him to cut holes in the back of it.

Powers/Abilities: Able to manipulate water. She’s fairly adept with her powers, and can even manipulate the water molecules that hang in the air.
Weapon: Maria uses two revolvers, plus the odd pistol. She’s been known to carry a knife or two, but that’s not guaranteed. She knows how to use most kinds of weapons, but is fairly clumsy with swords.
Personality: Maria is a natural leader. She is able to asses a situation, and figure out the best course of action. She’s not overtly emotional, but isn’t very stoic either. She’s not very easily ignored, and people tend to listen to what she says. She’s almost never stressed, and can deal with almost any situation. She likes to keep a weapon of some sort on her person, just in case.
Bio: When Maria was a child, she lived in Brooklyn, New York. When her father was shot in a gang war, her care was turned over to the Institute when she was 10. When her power over water manifested itself when she was 15, the Institute got worried. Elemental powers were valuable, but there was no way that they could completely isolate her from water. The solution? An inhibitor collar. Maria stayed in the Institute for ten more years. At age 25, Maria was able to break out of her cell (without her powers), and get rid of her inhibitor collar. She then escaped and joined up with Retribution, and currently helps as a sort of weapons dealer.
Alignment: Neutral, but tends to lean towards good
Description or Picture: Maria has short silver hair that falls over her left eye. She has Violet eyes and pale skin. She is 5’6” tall and has a fairly slender physique, but has a small amount of muscle. She speaks with a Brooklyn accent.
