Okay, so a lot of people seemed to point out that something was wrong with the guild. Rather than arguing back and forth in the Sniped D, I'd rather just try a different approach.
Just a fact finding, don't make this big. I want to know what you think about how the Sniper Guild is at the moment. Let's try just seeing what we think our weaknesses are and instead try to figure out ways to fix them. Simply state what you think a problem with the guild is, and then we can try and figure out ways to solve it.

I think we don't get out enough.
People should make SG themes threads in outside forums with banners linking to the game in their sigs... or post styles as long as its not too obnoxious.
The Ad committee should be restarted too... and actually do something past looking for volunteers.
More people seem to care now so I think somethings will work out this time. =D

I think at the moment we're being kind of... dull?
I agree with Insom about the ad committee and putting the word out there. The more people see stuff about the sniper game, the higher chance someone will click and stick around.
Also something I've noticed as I've become lazier and lazier in dealing with the guild is the first forum you come to is just so dead almost all of the time. That's a big issue with having it only be game related... it stays pretty boring. And that's the first thing people see when they see our guild; a dead forum with few new posts. No suggestions on this, just observations.
Our biggest weakness seems to be that we are, for the most part, apathetic. There are very few people in this guild who actually care, and that shows. But I think we have enough people who do to try and change it. heart

I dont think we're active enough for our current subforum setup to work very well.
I think it needs a complete overhaul.
I don't know how well that will go over.

Like if you're going to change the name of a SubForum you could have a contest. Ask people "Why should we name this SubForum after you or somebody you know, and why?". That will give people something to do, and make them feel involved, and you'll change the name of a dull subforum, and people will have a fun little contest to participate in. Then you send out an announcement, and get more people involved maybe, and then once you have the name picked out, you can have like an inaugural ball. And there will be a fun party, people can dress up their avatars. I dunno, spit balling s**t right now. But basically going and doing a massive overhaul of the way things are currently done might end up just becoming a big pain in the a**. Just tie things together and think about how they might go over, and then plan to make the things go over as well as possible, and make them make sense together, and basically what I'm doing right now, is something you don't do, cuz I'm like rambling. BUT BASICALLY! Right now, we're taking lots of steps in lots of different directions, because the consensus is that we all want change ASAP. But we need to keep all the steps in the same direction and we'll get to change eventually, and be a lot more stable. *RAMBLE MODE OFF!!*

buzz, the problem with that suggestion, as vaguely interesting as it sounds, is that you didn't say it in a way that actually made any SENSE. >.<

OK! Lets get elemental, see if that works better for me.
Currently you have things you're doing.
The things you are doing have:
1. A reason why
2. A way to to them
What you need! As in what I mean by business plan.
The Things we are currently doing have:
1. A reason why
2. A way to do them
3. It ties in with a couple of other things we're doing
You see when you look at all timey clocks, they have all those gears, and when one turns, the others that are connected to it turn also. And all these gears turning at the same time, and causing all the others to turn, makes the clock work? THAT is a business plan. A bunch of small things working together to make one big thing happen.
Well, currently we have a bunch of gears turning separately, and what the crew needs to do, is make all those gears work together.
I think that sounded good enough.
EDIT-- WOOPS! I also should add that crew SHOULD ask for help! cuz then people won't be happy.

I agree with Mose. Our main focus here should be the game. When it gets stalled like it is now, people lose interest fast. So, either Mose needs to give us reasons as to why he's super late with updating (even more than what he said before) or we need to bug him about it more.
I love you Mose, but the game should be our main focus and right now it's getting left behind.

So, either Mose needs to give us reasons as to why he's super late with updating (even more than what he said before) or we need to bug him about it more. I love you Mose, but the game should be our main focus and right now it's getting left behind. I know, I really feel horrible, but I lost the gas in this game since all of the Kroo shtuff going on, but I have also been SICK on and off and everything about that is ridiculous. You try being sick, then healthy, then sick, then healthy, then sick again... it's ******** s**t, that's what it is...

I think we need to advertise he guid as more than just a game. We have a pretty good social community as well. I've noticed that people have come to the guild for the game, and then also stay for our community, even if they stop playing. o3o

I might be a little blunt here so please forgive me.
You guys already said the two things anyway, the guild is dull and the GM updates.
First the GM update, now please forgive me Mose. But I've noticed the hypocrisy in the member list sign up, you know that oath you need to take when you sign up, usually it revolves around being active. Now I understand stuff does come up. I've have had those days where I seriously have not been able to even touch a computer for the whole day, I understand.
But I think the GM too should take an oath.
Now I can understand the GM being sick, but when I think of sick I think of someone having diarrhea and throwing up. Unless you have one of those two(or some terminal illness), or can't even make it out of bed, I can never accept being sick an excuse.
The GM should ONLY accept the role if he or she is able to update normally. That involves thinking ahead of your schedule. Do you have dates coming up that you need to be weary, even anticipate your sickness. I hear this winter is going to be horrible with people being sick. Anticipate that. Vitamin C pills work wonders.
I'm sorry, but I'm the kind of guy who would go to school in his worse moments just because I know if I miss a class session, I'm screwed.
Now school and jobs, eh that's a different story for now.
And the dull-nest of the guild. Like Buzz said, I think people are moving too fast. A few weeks ago I decided to come in here and I noticed the sudden change in one of the forums, an RP subforum. I thought it was alright, but I knew it wasn't going to be good because of the lack of people.
Also the parties are nice too, but you guys need to have stuff in between those dates. I really don't like seeing the same threads over and over. And lately I'm starting to just see spam in the D. (The ALL CAPS THREAD. One of them was about an elephant, the other was NOT about an elephant. What is that about? With all due respect are those necessary. I sometimes miss the discussions in here.)
