Its a pretty sweet game for the Tony Hawk brand. Only really thing I didn't like about American Wasteland was that you couldn't put your own created skater in the storymode like THUG2..you had to pick one of theirs then edit him along the storymode. Other then that I think it was a solid title.

Is it anything like THUG? I don't like much skating games but THUG I liked because it had somewhat of a storyline. I haven't played THUG2 yet but I'm thinking about it.

THUG2's storyline is World Destruction Tour..which was pretty sweet. American Wasteland's Story is that you are a skater who ends up comming to LA and then you meet a legendary skater who owns a skate ranch. After you bring publicity to the ranch some stuff happens (I want ruin it for people) and you end up having to destory stuff and take items (Hollywood Sign, and other stuff) back to the ranch to clean it up and make it sweet for Iggy. Then , Iggy never really owned the ranch and was trying to buy..but now that its popular the realitier tries to sell it..and thats when you go to gather pro skaters to help you make a video to save the park..alot more happens in between but I wont ruin it.
I give THAW a 8.5/10

I own it but I am stuck on the mission where you have to Manuel through a bunch of flags (HEctor; he says you have to skate bike and tag). Damn you sick mode. On classic I am at the last area I only have a few things left before I beat it.
JBL_god: You can create a skater and use them in free skate and Multiplayer and Classic.

hatchetwarrior250 never liked sports games xp I usually don't like sport games in the sense of Football, Basketball, Tennis and crap but I do tend to like the alternate sport games like snowboarding, racing, and pro-wrestling. However now that they have that Blitz game encouraging cheating...I just might pick it up.

Jaw Breaker Is it anything like THUG? I don't like much skating games but THUG I liked because it had somewhat of a storyline. I haven't played THUG2 yet but I'm thinking about it. I personally hate THUG 2, the storyline was lame and so were the missions in the storyline. My rating 7.5/10, Rating for THUG 1 9/10
