Hello! ^_^ My name is Xanin, and I'm 24 Years old. Me and my husband have been married for about 6 years. We're not trying to jump to anything...But I have a rare condition where I can only have a baby at a certain point over a period of time. I'm not meaning to get nasty or anything, But I'm sure a lot of the people here are mature enough. It's because one of my ovaries doesn't produce an egg, or something...
So, we're trying while I can still have one. It's kind of like a rush to have a baby, because if we don't try now, We might not be able to later on.
But enough said about that, hehe.
I'm kinda scared, about being a mom. I mean...Me and him both have really good paying jobs (Momma went to college, Haha) So I'm not worried about the financial part, hehe...
I'm worried on whether or not I'll be a good mom.
Well....Thats my story I guess ^_^" I hope I posted this in the right area!

Thats wounderful news! Don't worry about your langage here as long as you proper grammer and don't talk like "Puz e Capz in da azz!" We don't care lol Also don't worry about being gross ether, we talk about everything from sex to whether or not you had your baby vaginally or throw c-section. As long as you arn't talking about somthing trashy once again we don't mind.
As far as being afraid everyone is but remeber if your a good mom your gonna hear "I hate you" from time to time from your kid lol. We're hear for any qustions you may have. If you wanna know what the pregnacy is gonna be like set up a post in the baby belly area and I'm sure all the moms will come together to tell you what they delt with. I know mine was bliss, I didn't go throw much except the massive weight gain (60lbs) and alot of lower back pain. I even have video of my belly moving heart
ANYWAY I'm babbling now lol SO for my last thing this isn't a chatter box post sweetie, chatter box is for things off topic like pets or husbands or w/e lol so I'll move this to the main forum for you

Oh, Okay. Sorry about that...
But alright. I dunno...I'm used to the younger population of Gaia. Heh...But yeah. I kinda want to have a C-Session, But...Girls that I know had it...It was TERRIBLE Weeks after. But...Still...
I was talking to my hubby tonight and he just nuzzled close and said it would be alright. Haha, Easy for a guy to say, huh?
Like...I don't know anything about a mom. All I had growing up was a Dad after my mom left when I was in 6th grade. I'm so scared...What if I'm like my mom to my own child? Heh...
It's just a bunch of doubts about having a little one. But...I'm sure it'll be okay, heh.

As far as a C-section goes I could show you one picture of my stomic and you would never even consider it again lol. I would never do a Csection unless its a emergency. It was a day before I could even lean forward without shots of pain, then you have to basicly learn to rewalk cause they've been laying around for 3 days. It sucks! Plus you'll forever have that scar and you can never give birth naturally again because the surgery ruins the muscles that would push the baby out. ANYWAY thats just my knowlege on that.
I don't know you personally so I couldn't say wheither or not your a good mom but I can tell you the hard work it takes and you can make up your own mind lol. As far as knowing your mom goes, I didn't know my dad but I still knew what kinda man I wanted raiseing my child ^_^ I think the basic mistake alot of parents make is they wanna be "Buddys" with their kids more then they wanna be mom and dad which can cause ALOT of issues. I mean you can be both but your job as mom and dad is more important.

I wouldn't mind the scar. I mean...I really wouldn't. I've never been one to show off my scars, anyways...
And I'm VERY Scared of the Epidural. Do you still feel pains?

What I ment about showing you a picture is my stomic is a big old flabby chunk of jello. You won't lose alot of weight like if you did it naturally.
You feel a werid poking feeling all the way to your brain but it doesn't hurt. I was scared of that too but it was acually the easist part lol

Personally I thought the epidural was super awesome! The pinching of them putting it in was nothing compared to the relief of the general uncomfortableness I was feeling.
As for being scared about what kind of mother you will be, I think that you ARE scared is a really good sign. I think that if you worry about it then you will be a good mom. The one's who don't care are the one's that turn out to be bad parents.
My husband was told that he would never have kids before we met. We decided to start trying before we started working on adoption and we ended up with my miracle baby, Alex.
In my opinion, when you have to work at having a baby you appreciate it more. Where I live I see 2 year olds walking in the street in a diaper 6 feet behind their parents and I think that they must not care enough or they think they can just make more.

Xanin- When I was pregnant, I really wanted a C-section too. I thought it would be easier and I could get to meet my baby sooner. I also liked the idea that my maternity leave from work would be longer if I had one.
I almost ended up with one when Alex didn't want to come out. It's like he got so far and then got scared and tried to turn around and go back! In a couple of days, I had to stay longer in the hospital because I had high blood pressure problems during labor, I could fully get out of bed and take care of my son. My sister-in-law had a C-section with both of her kids and she couldn't get out of bed for the first week.
I'm glad that I didn't have one and that I got to spend my first days at home with my son enjoying every single minute.

Some little kid reported me on my other account, So here I am! Back better than ever, heh.
And thank you, everyone for the adivce. When I was little I basically raised my little sister when my mom left, so I kinda, maybe know how it feels. I just...I want to be the best mommy I can be. Hehe...
