Ok you all lets come up with ideas for the guild's Halloween event forum.
Here's what I've come up with so far. (With help from some of you too.)
1. Halloween Tektek costume contest. (They can dress up like anything they want that has a Halloween theme.)
2. Scavenger hunt. ( We will have them looking for things on the gaia site, and in the threads of our guild. Like images, snapshots of things on gaia, and much more.)
3. A random number game. This is were every one that wants a chance to win a amount of gold would post in a thread. How ever many people join will determine what number range we will be using.
For example if 20 people join, I would use random number 1-20, and it will pick the winner. Peoples numbers will be determined on what order they request to join in, or what number they pick if it isn't already taken.
4. Scariest Short Story/ Best Halloween Short Story contest. (Idea by VampireDraculina)
5. Halloween Song contest. Where people can take a popular song and changing the words to a Halloween song.
Halloween art contest. Where people tell weird or awkward Halloween experiences, and then we can pick ones we like the best as winners.

Ok the rest is up to you guys. Give me some input on what I've posted so far, and tell me of any games you guys would like to run, or help with. biggrin

"Scariest Short Story" Contest?
Or just a regular "Best Halloween Short Story?"
Or maybe both?
We could also have people take pictures of their costumes all throughout this month and choose a few people to be the best dressed. We could put them into categories like "Cutest" or "Scariest" or Sexiest (Pg-13, of course) and ect.! 3nodding
I will think of some more and post them later~!

We could have a song contest:
Taking a popular song and changing the words to a halloween song?
We could have a halloween art contest
We could have people tell weird or awkward halloween experiences and then pic ones we like the best as winners.

Ok, you all I love your ideas. I think as a crew, we should each host a contest or two in seperate threads. That way I wont be worked to death. What do you all think?

Sure ^^ sounds great Laroka!
I'd really like to host the story idea that I mentioned. Other than that, everyone else can pick first and I'm okay with taking the left overs.
You'll have to let us know the prizes for each of the contests that we're doing though!

Oh! I have another idea, I saw this in a thread for v-day.
People could go through a few posts and find letters that are orange (for Halloween). The order they find them in will be scrambled. They have to unscramble all the letters to guess the mystery sentence!
(Maybe it's like "Laroka like's trick or treating" or something like that)
If we do this, I'd refrain from using the word Halloween, because it's too obvious.
But do whatever you want XD

You can do that if you want. You can hide the letters everywhere in the guild for people to find. smile That means you will be hosting three contests though. You want to do that?
