Timeline: This RPG takes place in the 19th century. As for the motorcycles, they're the very same ones from Castlevania 64. This plot takes place after that game. Castlevania 64 takes place in the year 1852, according to The Castlevania Dungeon.
http://www.classicgaming.com/castlevania/storyline.htmlThe RPG takes place in the year 1877.
I interact with the players, giving flesh to the story. Lesser enemies will be added to the scene by me, but players are free to interact with them to the point of controlling enemies' actions when in combat with their character. Higher up NPCs, including "Boss" enemies and enemies that are not considered cannon fodder, will be controlled by me or whoever is in charge of the storytelling.
There is a main plot to follow, but its flesh constantly changes as I improvise and react to players' actions. Everything that happens goes according to the plans of the forces of Darkness behind the evil plot to resurrect Dracula. However, they can't control the actions of the vampire hunters, and most of these actions are unpredictable. All they can do is retaliate and come up with new plans, changing the progress of the storyline in different ways to what was originally planned.
Dice-rolling system: Some characters will have special skills which will rely on the outcome of dice-rolling. I will add to their characters' description the list of skills affected by dice with the type of die next to the name of the skill. Next I will list what will be the outcome of each number you get on the roll.
-example-
Fireball (d6)
1 - fire explodes on your face
2 - fail
3-5 - success
6 - huge fireball
D6 represents a six-sided die. Getting a 1 is generally a botch of the action, which might have from bad to terrible consequences. 2 has fail next to it, meaning the intended action does not happen. 3-5 has success next to it, meaning that getting a 3, 4, or 5 will make your character cast a fireball successfully. Getting that highest number of a dice-roll, sometimes may have an effect that surpasses what intended.
Each time you wish to use a dice-rolling dependent skill you must choose Post Action - Roll Dice, then select die size according to the skill you're going to use. Each skill has its own set of dice. Beware! Make sure you roll the correct die size for the action you intend to use. I will assume you were attempting to use the skill corresponding to that size of die. Also beware that you will not be able to delete your post nor edit the dice roll. Number of dice will be 1 for now.

((OOC: This is synop of every relevant post since your last update on battle status Lair.
1. Outlaw takes out one Skeleton on a motorcycle.
2. Koru makes a dive for the bone that all the skeletons seem interested. Racing against
one of the cycles.
3. Outlaw wants everyone else to hold back the big skeleton while he creates a path for
Koru.
4. Vishno's concentration has been disrupted from his attack. Notices that the skeletons
are heading for the rib and makes the connection that it must be like the wolfs Claw.
He wants Koru to attack the large skeleton (Koru wouldn't be changing is attack plans.)
while he and Outlaw try to get the rib.
5. Koru goes for the Skeleton and Vishno gets the rib. (This is posted by Koru I do not
know if this is what you wanted to happen Lair)
6. (From what I can tell) Outlaw does an attack that is basically a million sword whip
strikes at the skeleton. Saying that the attack has exhausted him so I suppose he's out of
this fight from this point on.
7. Our new monk attacks with his mace on the giant Skeleton's foot.
8. (This is confusing because in 8 Hypno claims he's still still attacking skeletons.
Apparently the last motorcycle riding skeleton is all that is left between him and the rib
however in point 5 Koru stats that Vishno has already attained the rib. I suppose this is
Koru and Vishon catching up with Tarot and co in terms of posting what's going on I have no
clue).
9. Outlaw states that the skeleton falls to it's feet? And breaks apart.... Oh dear ok
Apparently the Giant Skeleton fell to it's knees and is destroyed and he asks Koru if
we got the rib. Though he labels it finger....))
I got a bit lost, but from what I have gathered...
No one has taken the rib yet. Vishno proposed that they take out the motorcicle riders and whatever foe attempts to get the rib. Rather than concentrating on taking the rib, protect it and take it once you know it is safe.
Koru attempts to call the huge skelleton's attention to him, but an undead numbskull as a skelleton is can only be distracted by attacks. It won't listen to yells and threats, unlike werewolves.
I will ignore OL's attempt to control the boss skelleton's outcome, and react to the holy water attack on the skelleton's foot.
Sorry for the hiatus on the RPG thread updates. I was waiting for the OOC messages to get deleted, so that everyone is able to read rpg related posts without distractions and catch on on what's going on in the story. Plus I was trying to contact Jin to discuss about certain changes I was planning on the RPG, such as creating this thread to separate OOC messages from the RPG thread and keep things a bit more organized.
