According to the US Census Bureau, Filipinos are considered Asian along with those from Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, China, ect....

Pacific Islanders would be people from places like Hawaii, Guam, Samoa, Fiji, and the native people of New Zealand.

Basically, you're Pacific Islander if you come from some place on this map.

im sorry , but im not trying to be mean.

those filipinos who think or feel that they are pacific islanders are uneducated. no offense.

everyone in asia know that Philippines is an asian nation.

also those filipinos might also think that indians, people in the middle east or russians are not asian, even though they are.

again no offense just saying
