The story takes place in a Tavern, in a small village populated by the army of the king. The village is located in a dessert like region inhabited by folks in western type houses. The Tavern is located in the middle of town, looks much like a saloon; it's both a bar, cafe', and a inn. Currently, a gang of army men are being loud, rude and all out annoying in the tavern. What will become of these men....-This Rp is now open-

I am a half breed in this story, I'm a Tengu.  Name:Shuu Age: 19 Height: "5'5 Favorite foods: Salty stuff and sweets Least favorite: Veggies Personality: Laid back and slow in the head, but loyal overall. She likes making friends. hobbies: reading manga Extra: Shuu's parents are dead and she only has a sister, and a brother. She lost her sibling after her parents died, her and her sister were separated and her brother took off. After she was separated she wandered around looking for a home, after wandering for days she came into a small town and was adopted by the villagers. Ever since then she's worked at the tavern to help repay the villagers for they're kindness. (Shuu doesn't know of the rebellion and doesn't like the king or his mean army, she remains neutral...for now.)

Name: Tesla
Age: 37
Height: 6'2"
Favorite foods: Mashed Potatoes
Least favorite: Cold things
Personality: Having lived both before and after the King's cruel regime, Tesla has gone along with politics so far and outwardly appears meek and submissive. Inside, though, there's a fire of hate and revenge that burns. Resourceful and cunning, Tesla is a planner and a doer, leaving nothing to chance.
hobbies: Sight-seeing, gambling
Weapon of Choice: Tesla has a pair of gauntlets that she wears. There's a secret button that she can press to make blades slide out, turning them into daggers bound to her arms.
Extra: Tesla was 13 when the King took over, so she has a good memory of what life was like before the terrible, corrupted regime took over. Years later, she built an airship out of spare parts and has since then become a merchant, flying from city to city transporting goods and selling her wares. She grudgingly sat by and allowed the King to rule until she heard of her parents being accused of treason and hanged for crimes they didn't commit. Since then she joined the underground movement to overthrow the King.

*The loud hustle and bustle of the town roars into the tavern, you can hear steps coming down stares located behind the bar, it's Shuu coming down the stairs getting ready to start her day. She stops at end of the stairs and takes a deep breath and slaps her cheeks*
"I can do this, I can do this" *Sighs*
"Another rough night Shuu? What keeps you up all night?" *A voice comes from a couple feet away, it's Shuus' boss, the owner of the bar.*
"A longing for more..." *She picks up her note pad and pencil, puts them in her pocket. Then picks up the tray of waters to give to the customers*

Tesla walked into the bar, wiped her nose, and surveyed the scene before her. It was dark and smelly, the air thick with smoke and laughter; just what she was expecting. She popped her knuckles and ventured farther into the mess, taking an empty seat by the bar. She ordered a whiskey.

"Your whiskey will be ready momentarily. Is it just the Whiskey for today? Or would you like something to eat?" *She says as she pulls out her note pad and pencil from her pocket*

Eying the water thoughtfully, Tesla thought the question over. She was feeling a bit hungry, but the prices were high here, what with the new taxes putting stress on the locals. Having just been paid, though, she decided to give in.

"I'll have your special, whatever it is." *Shuu writes on her pad and nods* "Our special today is pasta, I'll get it out to you right away." *Clang, the army soliders over in the corner of the tavern clashing their drinks together singing 'long live the king' while drinking booze. Shuu stares, but then turns away when they notice her staring. She quickly walks away; the towns people always told her never to stare at the army men for fear of making them angry.*

Character Name: Cambia
Appeared Age: About 20
'Oddities': Eerily stealthy, paired with her quick wit and fantastic ability to shapeshift.
Appearance: Short black hair with longer bangs. Since she is a shapeshifter and has the ability to change any and all parts of her body, her bangs are usually a different color everyday. Cambia has many cuts all over her body on account of her instability (Laceration is her self medication) she is usually about 5' 7 and thin-ish.
Weapon: Cambia loves to play with sharp objects. She likes razors a lot and even has one in the shape of a dinosaur. Often times she plays with them in her mouth.
Even since Cambia woke up 15 years ago she has been lost, She is a often times a lone wanderer since most people can't understand her or deal with her for more than a few days. Cambia is Schizophrenic. Sometimes she is childish and cute, even playful. Other times she is aloof and frigid. Other times still she is quiet, intelligent and shy. Cambia can usually be 'read' by the color of her bangs or the current form she has wished to take. She loves to play with sharp things, from razors in her mouth to sharpened spoons and rings of metal.]]

*Cambia was seated in a table that was quite literally across from the Knights. She had on a long cloak covering her hair and most of her body. She hadn't been sitting there long when she noticed an older woman that had just ordered whiskey. Cambia giggled to herself. Wasn't it a bit early to be drinking whiskey? To each their own I suppose. Cambia looked back down to the table and saw a small raincloud carved into it. She lifted one of her hands from her lap and felt the grooves in the table. She smiled and thought about the rainbow cake her mother used to make to celebrate the after-storms. Everyone knew that rainbows came after rain. As she was smiling and thinking about the rainbow-y treat her hair started shifting colors without Cambia being completely aware of it. If her hood were down everyone would be able to see that her hair was no longer Black with pink bangs but a vast plethora of almost every color. Cambia signaled the Tengu waitress. Cambia wanted Whiskey too.*

Pasta? she thought. Not exactly what she was looking for, but Tesla figured she should eat before the fight. She had just arrived the night before on her airship Silence after making a run to a nearby country to exchange some of her "goods". On the way, Silence had been intercepted by a messenger airship with orders from the resistance.

*Cambia glanced up at the Knights. They were very rude but surprisingly had been leaving the Tengu alone. Usually they would harass her to no end. Her being a half breed and all. Cambi tensed at the thought of a fight with the table of knights. She knew that they weren't very skilled and that it wouldn't be too hard, but they did have a captain with them. The tell tale sign of the red symbol on his armor. They were usually harder to deal with but if you took him out then the others were cake. She hoped this one didn't know how to use Magik.*

*Shuu goes behind the counter to check and see if the pasta for the army men was ready and Tesla. Lucky for her, when she went into the kitchen the cooks were gone and were actually outside conversing over a pipe or two.*
"DAMN!" *Shuu freaked out and took a deep breath; knowing that the army men were kept waiting for awhile already. She's knows that they've become impatience and drunk, which is not a good combination. She'd have to think of something but she was never good at lying, especially when the person she lies to can punish her severely. Scared but trying to be calm, she walks out to the army mens table and spoke with meekly*
"The pasta isn't quiet ready yet...but may I refill your glasses for free?" *The army men looked very angry and arose to their feet unsheathing their weapons. This made Shuu squeak from fear and her wings popped out of her back as a reaction. The army men stared at her and became even more angry because they thought she was preparing for attack.*
