Banner Contest
We, your almighty crew, decided that we can't give out enough prizes, so, once more, we are having a contest. Since DARKNRGY tweaked Guilds and gave everyone nifty mini banners, this offered a prime opportunity-- one we have seized.
This is the official Banner Contest thread, complete with prize listings, guidelines, contestants, and (once they've been decided on) winners. If you are entering, make sure you give everything at least one good read so you know what's going on.
So, to start with:
Contest Info
The deadlines have been changed. Entries will be accepted until the end of Dec. 12th. Voting will start on Dec. 13th and continue through the 18th.
Winners will be announced on Dec. 19th.
Entries will be accepted from now until Dec. 10th. From Dec. 11th to Dec. 15th judging will take place. You guys will vote in a poll (which will be added to this thread) for your favorite Main Banner, while those of us in the crew will be voting on our favorite Mini Banner.
Winners will be announced on Dec. 16th.
(Dates may be changed if need be.)
There are two parts to this contest: the Mini Banner and the Main Banner.
The Mini Banner is 200 pixels wide by 40 pixels high. It must be that size, no bigger, no smaller.
The size of the Main Banner can be between 350 and 450 pixels wide and between 400 and 450 pixels high. That does not mean the banner has to be either 350x400 or 450x450. The width and height can be anywhere between the two specified numbers. For example, a banner that is 375 pixels wide by 420 pixels high is perfectly fine.
Entering in both contests is allowed, so feel free to make both a Mini Banner and a Main Banner. The only limitation on theme/subject matter is that it must, of course, be Stargate oriented.

Your banner should include the following text, no matter which size you have chosen to make:

"The Alpha Site" should be prominent.
You may use either "A Gaia Online Stargate Guild" or "A Stargate Guild".

Now for the most important part of this contest:
Prizes
The winners of both contests will recieve the same prize:
First Place: One Dec. Letter and a custom CSS profile with your choice of theme
Runner-up: One Dec. Letter

Once you have your banner made, just post it here or PM it to me if you feel inclined.
