What were the rating last season. We can;t know if Dollhouse is improving if we can't compare ratings this year to last year.

the broadcast ratings arent close to the truth though.. they're always pretty tragic. part of how it was brought back for another season was once they counted ratings on itunes and hulu, cause the ratings basically rock when all totaled.

I have the season one ratings up in the season one subforum. But yeah, they're pretty sad. The season 2 finale was the series' all time low, at least in the Nielsen ratings.

The should find a different system. I mean I'm not expecting many four member families sitting down to watch Dollhouse on a Friday. DVR numbers for Dollhouse were good though and it was cheaper than TSCC. I doubt it will make it to another season... but hey I said that in May too!

DVR numbers for Dollhouse were good though and it was cheaper than TSCC. I doubt it will make it to another season... but hey I said that in May too! I absolutly agree. Friday is a horrible time slot, and on fox, it won't get any better. Even though I was looking forward to the show for weeks...Friday came and I was too busy to sit down and watch it. I had to go on the net to watch it. BUUT. I read that syfy channel has now bought the rights to air season 1 of dollhouse so if the show were ever cancelled on fox (like a previous joss whedon success story) they could continue the series. And Summer Glau is now said to be a new character. Bennet. Basically another Topher of another dollhouse.

I always watched it live... cause I have no life to speak of. sweatdrop But if I did, I probably would watch it on hulu later as well.
I thought it was only Syfy UK that has the rights to it. I might have read that wrong somewhere though.
Oh, could you add spoiler tags or make your text white? In case some people might not want to know that little bit of into. wink

I think it's just a rumor. I searched, and I didn't find any news like this. Even if Syfy had the rights, they would only have the syndication rights. That is, they would only be allowed to air season one. I don't think Syfy has the budget to continue the series themselves if it was canceled, even with season 2's low budget costs. And I also found this list of tv shows likely to be canceled this year. Dollhouse is at the top. sad

Yeah I saw that list too. It depresses me so much that this show, which I think is a lot better and deeper than 80% of what is one TV right now, has no one watching it.

Ratings for the last episode went up. But it's still the 2nd lowest so far.

Up is better than down. It isn't another series low so that is... encouraging? It being off for a week could make matters worse though.

Here is another list of shows likely to be canceled, and although Dollhouse is not at the top anymore, it's still not safe.

Can't believe the ratings for the show. I hope it gets higher, I really don't want the show to be cancelled.
